i live on a military base and my wife is in the military. every place we go to we get look at alot. my wife is black and i am from india.. but most of all they think i am terrorist.i want to say something but if i do it will cause a fight and i cant get into no fight b/c i will get my wife into trouble b/c she is in the military.what do you think i should do when this happen again????

Try looking at it a different way. Pretend they don't care about skin color, and instead they are looking because your wife is so beautiful. Then instead of feeling like a singled out terrorist suspect, you can feel like the guy walking in with the hottest girl in the room.
The way you perceive the situation has a large effect on how it turns out. If you get selfconscious and nervous, it will read in your body language. If you stay calm and relaxed, that will read too. I'm not at all suggesting that any of these problems are your fault, I'm just trying to suggest easier ways to handle them. Good luck!

Perhaps there is a reason people look at you. You are free to have the appearence you choose, but also be aware that other people are free to give you funny looks.

dude, you have to realize that 9/11 changed everybody's perspective on middle eastern peoples, plus you guys probably look like a funny looking couple so they might just be staring because of that, just get over it, until this whole thing stops your going to have to live with it
