You have a few options to obtain copies of your old W2s.
In order of effectiveness...
1) contact your former employer(s) for the years you need copies.
2) (assuming the reason you need copies is not to file your original income tax returns), if you had a professional tax preparer prepare your income tax returns, he/she may have copies.
3) contact the Internal Revenue Service at 800-829-1040 and ask for a transcript for the year of your missing W2s. There is no charge for the transcript. However, the transcript will not include State information. To obtain State information, you will want to contact your State Income Tax Commission.
4) if you need an actual copy, and you filed the income tax return, you may order a copy, from the Internal Revenue Service, on Form 4506, for a small fee.
5) if your desk looks like mine does, sometimes, sort through your old junk mail, and you just might find them! :-)

Easiest thing to do is contact the employer and ask for a copy of their master copy; they are requaired by law to keep all employment records. Failing that go to IRS.GOV and follow the yellow brick road.
