I would start looking and during your free time, fill out applications online and send or fax resumes. Also try to schedule interviews in the end of the day, lets say you leave at 5pm, try and schedule one at 4pm and tell them that you have to leave early bc you have an emergency or you feel sick. Then, try your best to get another job and after you do get another job, I would secretly type up all the horrible things these ppl do and post it around all the town and or the city just to let everyone know what a bad reputation they have. I would also not give my 2 wks notice and just walk out on them after telling them off! Good luck and I know how you feel. If it helps, were hiring someone here where I work. McAllen TX.

Dear first you should know that you have sick time, so use it, start posting your resume online, and when they call you try to arrange the interviews the week later to give it a chance to other companies to call you when they do arrange them the same day one, early in the morning, one in the afternoon remember you can be absent from your job at least 2 days in a row without a certificate from a doctor, so try to do as much on those planned days also search for local job fairs at this time they are very popular!! and good luck and when you quit just give them a 2 weeks notice that is short and sweet don't go into details they really don't care if they are such jerks!!
Good Luck

Most of these answers are good - deffinately talk the main boss and advise what is going on, if he doesnt believe you then see if you can get some evidence.
Meanwhile look around, or even take a day off drop off your resume to as many places that you may consider working at and then when you get a new position adivse management when leaving on reason of leaving and say you know of at least one other case where this the fact - even if it is the HR manager that you have to speak to tell him/her that you realise what they are doing and are not very interested in mentally challenged people. They should spend their time more effectively. Good luck.

I've been in typical situations. Make sure you leave them high and dry to stick it to them well. The whole "two weeks" thing is only an archaic tradition, you can resign whenever you feel like it.
It sounds like your workplace is a little hostile, so do not dare to apply for positions online at work even if you have the time. Frankly, don't look at Yahoo e-mail messages at work since they can read whatever you click on, regardless.
Look for a job ASAP and try your best to accomodate for interviews and other whatnot. Use your lunch time for phone interviews at a neutral location.
In addition, look to save money - don't spend frivolously at this time. If they end up ousting you from this job, you'll need all of the money you have.
Although you cannot do internet-based computer stuff, there is plenty of non-internet stuff to do such as reviewing your resume or creating different cover letters. You have a decent computer and comfy chair - make use of it.

you can quit and collect unemployment if you are not doing what they had described you would be doing. And if they are plotting, which is ridiculous, call unemployment and tell them all of this. . That is a hostile work enviroment! I have left numerous jobs because of the same thing and won every single unemployment case. This gives you time to do your job hunting and interviews. GO TO DOL FOR YOUR STATE AND READ IT! I happen to live in CT and if you wanna email me, I know the rules and regs, but I cant vouch for other states.

Looking for a job is a job in itself. If you are seriously considering looking for a new position, you must take advantage of every free moment you have. Thanks to the internet, looking for a job is much easier; therefore, you definitely have time. You just have to use it wisely. Submit your cover letter and resume (and KSAs if you are looking for a government position) electronically. Whether its through the company's local database or email. Once a perspective employer has contacted you, explain your current situation to them; therefore, allowing you flexibility for the interview process. If they are not willing to work around your schedule, they are not worth your time. When potential employers are actively seeking highly qualified individuals, they will go to no end to obtain that person. Good luck!

Post your resume online at Monster, CareerBuilder, Yahoo Jobs and your local online newspaper. Get a couple of headhunters from various agencies and have them look for interviews for you. Call in sick when you have interviews or schedule them before or after work.
Life is too short to stay in a job like that.
Good Luck!

Good girl for staying, even when times are hard. You know that is how blessings come to us. We see hard times no matter what, those woman are on the job and they are miserable, under sexed, pay master women. They see you even in your struggles still looking good and still smiling and they can't stand it. Look on the Internet, off the clock, for a better job. Keep in mind that haters come in all creed and sizes, different colors, and sexes, just add them to your list. Keep being a phenomenal woman, setting examples for your children. Good Luck, and hold your head so HIGH

Let prospective employers know of your strict schedule and ask for slightly after or before hours times for interviews. They will do it if they feel you might be worth it. This will show that you are loyal to your job (even if you are not). Also, you have to make enough energy. Don't drag your feet, put in the extra time to make it happen, or someone will make the decision for you.

Look for something else!
When you do get called for an interview, call in sick the day of the interview. Or let them know you have an appointment with the doctor, financial agent, dentist, etc. for the time of your interview.
