They don't like to - they have to.
It is necessary to continue to push their doubts in front of them and call it a shield of faith (yet another example of ecclesiastical language manipulation). When the atheist says something that threatens their belief, they then have no choice but to defend their disbeliefs, reinforcing the illusion that they are believers.
Faith is not about what you believe - it's about what you can make yourself ignore.

Oh extremely? What a thoroughly and completely hypocritical component to ask. i can not think of of one single question asked by utilising those with non secular ideals that come right here asking uncomplicated questions the place there at the instant are not a minimum of a million/2 a dozen atheists that experience the could desire to chime in and talk approximately: the non-existence of god, and fairy thoughts, and myths. and that i've got seen YOU try this too. How dare you ask this hypocritical question.

Here I will argue with you:
I want you tell them how the Earth produced the very first Mammal? I want to have exact detail on how exactly this Mammal was born and the exact process it took for it too happen.
Explain if they came from Reptiles, Why our DNA doesn't show this and why can we not breathe under water
I also want DNA proof of this.
Lets see how logically you can explain your belief's.
You have exactly 10 minutes so your Google time is limited.
hey Tucking can you read I want the description of the BIRTH OF THE VERY FIRST MAMMAL ON EARTH...NOT HOW MAMMALS CAME FROM ANYTHING.
THE BIRTH OF MAMMALS, THE VERY FIRST BIRTH
I ALSO SAID DNA PROOF.
GOOGLE IT AGAIN MORAN..
oh snap!
I also want proof, not a theory of how the no reaction when there was nothing became a reaction, which is the exact opposite of the" with every action comes a reaction"
I also want too know why we don't share DNA with every plant and every animal if we evolved from everything.
I also want to you explain every person on earth's DNA profile exactly. I also want it to be explained every little detail and what every single DNA does for you. I want it exact.
Do you get the picture here? You ask for proof and blah blah blah and it can be easily turned around on you

I don't argue. I state what I know to be true based on the bible. Many people take a verse or section of verses from the bible and take them out of context to support their theories. You can't take one verse and one verse there. The bible is one complete book that is to be taken in it's entirety (sp?). You can't just quote one verse to support your thinking. You have to read the verses before and after to understand what God is trying to tell you.

They have plenty of rhetoric but in debates it's always the atheist who comes out on top. Christianity is very difficult to defend on the basis of logic and smart Christians usually avoid debating it on logical grounds.

Both christians and atheists can argue nonsensically.
It is up to individuals to question everything, and determine what you believe for yourself.

Example? Although I can see your point sometimes, people sometimes don't actually explain what or why they believe something. This does lead people to believe we just babble about nothing all the time. If you have any question, feel free to send me a message.

Most Christians have faith in their religious belief(s) based on illogical or irrational reasons. Since that is their foundation, that is the standpoint they use when arguing.

Because, sadly, their illogic "makes sense" to them, as the first answer demonstrates.
They have no concept of the difference between subjective and imperical evidence. To them, the plural of anecdote is data.
