It's probably the ABS sensor in the rear differential housing. We replace a lot of those.

It means your ABS/Traction Control Module has detected something that has fallen outside the parameters of what it is supposed to "see" causing it to throw the ABS light on to alert YOU, the driver. It does NOT mean you need new brakes. The most common cause of this, on your particular vehicle is for the rear speed sensor on top of the rear differential housing to fail. This part is not expensive or hard to replace. But, to know for sure, you'll need to take it to a mechanic that has a scan tool that can communicate with the ABS module on your vehicle to retrieve to code first, and find out what's causing the light to come on, before you start replacing unecessary parts. Hope this helps.

this doesnt always means you need new brakes. It means something isnt right with your antilock braking system like it may not be working properly. You need to have this checked out by a Professional.
