I don't think we'll become more prevalent but I think as the environment becomes a bigger issue, Paganism will be as wildly accepted as Christianity. I hope so anyway!!!
Also, with events like, The DaVinci Code and The Dead Sea Scrolls being brought into the public eye, it has made some people question the truth behind the bible. This, I think, will make those look into other faith/belief systems, so I guess some will look to Paganism for this reason also!!
As you say Paganism was here first!! (so it's hardly a phase!!)
Caity which country are you in? Pagans are everywhere!!! lol

I believe the Pagan communities all around the world are growing by leaps and bounds and will one day garner the respect of their/our spirituality that is deserved by law and people. Do I believe that Paganism will one day be more prevalent than Christianity in Britian? I don't know I guess anything is possible.
What I do believe is that with the many inconsistancies within the Bible and the lack of balance between male and female deity and concepts that many seek that balance else were.
What I do believe that like myself many want to believe that their Creator is a balance of good and bad, and that as long as there is balance life will be good.
But who's to say? I believe in many ways religion is not just about spirituality for our modern world but about polotics and money for far to many.

I think so because people, although they may not be religious, are a spirit in a physical body and on some level they will always want to commune with the Creator ( whether they realise it or not) Paganism is communion with the Creator without the dogma of religion. They will find a way that is comfortable for them.

Yes I do. Paganism is one of the fastest growing religions int he world. Its the only I have ever found where there is a female divine and that the divinities are equal. Women are the givers of life, the creators of life, the nurturers of life, and Paganism honors that in a way that most if not all other religions don't. We live in a world of very independent women who are rather tired of being told what they can and can not do by men.
I can also tell you that we would never treat Chrisitans as they treat us. They will answer to thier God.

The New Age thing is just a phase. Another few decades will see people in the world acting in the sad ways they always have (because sin is in the world) ... any idea that it is a "New age" will wilt.
God has brought people of other faiths here to encounter Himself through the true faith and salvation in His Son Christ. What their native countries denied them, they have the opportunity to experience. Some will go back with courage and God's power to bring the gospel to their native lands.
There will be probably be some large revivals in US and Europe in the next 50 years (unless we are very near the end of the Age). God tends to shatter the illusions of atheists that way.

No, I don't think so. I'm a Pagan, but I feel that Paganism has been given so much "negative press" for centuries resulting in a total misunderstanding (e.g. people believing we are satanists!) that people will not consider finding out what we are really about.

I actually didn't know that there was such a large pagan population in Britain until recently. I think that would be cool, I would move to Britain.

Christianity is almost entirely based on regional pagan myths and ritual anyway. Christ/Thor etc... I say bring back Danelaw and the good old days.

No.
Atheism maybe, but not paganism, sorry... nothing against, I just don't see it happening though. Society is heading towards the secular, not the new age.
