hahaha, a tiny head could not last that long. but hey, they will figure that out after more extensive time consuming research. lol.

well nobody knows EXACTLY how old the earth is. even if the earth WAS 29 million yrs old, that doesnt mean that the bible and God's word, is not valid. Adam and Eve were created approx 6,000 - 9,000 yrs ago, but thats not how old the earth is. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth, and it was without form... so the earth was there before people were, just not filled.

but honestly, a 29 million yr old head? lol.
thats almost as silly as the time they thought the world was flat..... and found out yrs later, they were wrong. or the time they thought there was no flood that covered the earth (in the time of Noah) till yrs later, they found out they were wrong.

dont worry, eventually, maybe yrs and yrs later, like the last things i mentioned, they will discover the earth isnt that old, nor any artefacts. and even if it were, who cares? God didnt say "in the beginning, which was the 1st of January, 0000, which was approximately one million yrs ago, if your reading in 2006." lol.

ask God to give you peace about this. Dont let it shake your faith :-)

My God is great enough to have created a fossils that appears to man's science to be 29 million years old. My God can create a piece of carbon that seems to be millions of years old (diamonds).

I haven't been taught that 6,000 year thing so I cannot comment on that. But isn't it possible that God created some things before Adam? In Genisis it doesn't say how long it was between the seventh "day" and when God created Adam. Who is to say some things are not older than Adam? The bible states "In the beginning..." , well we don't know when the beginning was!

Don't let "scientific" claims shake your faith. Our God is the God of all creation.

I thought at first your comment was simply that evolutionists have a tiny head(period) and I was going to answer in agreement to this however I read on further and disagree about this so called Christian teaching as not all Christians believe this either,I certainly do not, the creation of Adam and Eve was much earlier than this, so what denominations teach this as the age of creation anyway?

There is a mountain of evidence suggesting that the earth, the universe, and humanity is more than just a few thousand years old. We have geological, evolutionary, astrophysical, astronomical, theoretical, molecular, cellular, and biological evidence that the world is much much older than 6,000 years.

So your belief is ultimately science vs. religion. There is one source for the 6,000 year theory with no evidence to support it. There are hundreds, maybe thousands of other sources each with hundreds, maybe thousands of pieces of evidence to support them. The world is old. Humanity is old. The universe is very old.

Believe what you will. I suggest researching the topic thoroughly before making up your mind. Good luck.

Carbon dating is seriously flawed, often being wrong by up to 50x, but even accounting for this, if they say the skull is 29 million years old, it's still going to be over half a million.

6000 years is unrealistic.

Honey, you are asking to be convinced of something that doesn't make sense to you by asking only for a Christian opinion. Read. Learn. Seek Truth, and decide for yourself.

There is no evidence for Adam and Eve, start there. There is evidence in the fossil record of Human beings changing over time from other species. Take your pick. Cold hard irrefutable testable facts or what some religious book tells you.

There is overwhelming physical evidence that the human race has been on earth for alot longer than 6,000yrs. Modern man (Homo sapians) is thought to be around 200,000yrs old.

The estimated age of the earth is 4.5BILLION YEARS.

What kind of skull are you refering to.

Science and the bible are never going to agree on this one. You just have to decide what you believe.
