Use Feminine Wash with manjakani, daun sirih and aloe vera.
I use K'zanah Manjakani Plus Feminine Wash that
-Protects from unpleasant odour, even during menstrual flow
-Protects from itch and discomfort
-Protects from discolouration

I don't think douching is the answer. Your vagina is like a self cleaning oven and cleans itself and douching can actually kill all the good stuff that helps to get rid of the bacteria causing the odor. I would go to the gyno like someone said it sounds like a yeast infection , but i'd go to the gyno to make sure nothing else is going on. Best of luck.

Don't masturbate during your period.
Invest in sanitary pads/tampons that have deodorant and/or odor control properties.
Buy some special wipes (Summers Eve has a good one).
Douche AFTER your period.
Bathe often.
You can also use a deodorant spray for the vaginal area.
If you have any sort of discharge other than menstrual fluid, itching, or change in your flow, go see your gynecologist.
