Personally, I don't have a problem with evolution. When Darwin wrote the first edition of The Origin of the Species, he postulated that God may have breathed life into just a few species, or perhaps only one. This theory is not in contradiction with the Bible in my opinion.
The fossils of "early man" are a bit subjective. There are very few, and no complete skeletons. The entire fossil record of early man would fit onto a single desktop, and the validity of some are still hotly debated to this day.
I believe that man was a unique creation, based on the Genesis account, but otherwise I see no conflict between my faith and evolution. Therefore, I would explain the dinosaurs and climate changes just as you would.

I've never had any problem believing in dinosaurs. There are ancient stone carvings depicting them, and a few (sort of shady) stories of seeing them.
Ever wonder what's with the whole idea of dragons looking so much like dinosaurs? And why do so many countries have their own versions of giant lizard-like things?
My mother watched a video once that had a scentist on it saying they once carbon-dated the shell of a snail, and the date came back as millions of years ago (or something to that effect), except it was taken from a LIVING snail. Also, there are reportedly times that archaologists find tools from "early man" actually above more "modern man" objects, and just never really mention it. I wasn't there, so I can't prove these things, but it's enough doubt for me.
One more thing... dillingere_p is being annoying, even to other Christians. You asked for no Biblical evidence because you don't believe it, and probably think we follow it blindly. We don't, but we do have a certain amount of faith in it. Not all things are going to match up with it, but God didn't create the earth and our minds to constantly contradict each other, if people would remain faithful and OBJECTIVE (I'm talking to the Christains (that have been brainwashed) and religiously "scientific" people out there!) the two wouldn't be in conflict!!!

Question: What do dinosaurs have to do with evolution?
They died because of the climate change, because they didn't evolve, right?
Interesting, early man used rocks and boulders.
Well, I guess, and remember this is just a hunch, there might not have been a B&Q near by.
Oh, and here is a modern day example of simple anti-evolutionism.
Evolutionists say that all way long ago there wasn't much sugar or sweet food around so we evolved so that we went after it more than other foods and enjoyed it more because our body needed it to an extent.
Oh, but look at us now, we're extremly obese (especially me) and we have had huge supplies of sugar for centuries, it is killing us and our bodys, if anything want it more.
Ta da. Explained. If you want more e-mail me or something, but I advise you don't as I am very tired.

things aren't adding up because evolution leads you in circles, if you find out one theory, it leads right back to the one you had before. it will never complete itself...God created the dinosaurs along with everything else, there was no time difference, in the bible there is a passage in Job that describes dinosaurs... living among man. Noah was commmanded by God to take a male and a female of every unclean animal and 7 of the clean animals, this also included the dinosaurs...the other dinosaurs left were wiped out with everything else in the flood God sent to destroy the wickedness in the world. That explains how dinosuar bones ended up where there would usually be no chance of survival by a cold blooded animal. Fish fossils are found on the tops of hills far away from water, how else would they get there?

Have you ever seen a dinosaur?
Do you know it looks like? Are you sure the bones linked up are the same?
Have you never heard that archaeologists have discovered drawings of men interacting with dinosaurs?
Are you sure there was a man called ''early man''? If he existed thousands of years ago, why do we still resemble people depicted in the hieroglyphics, who existed around more than 4000 years back? We are a picture of the early man. Hence early man does not look like you think.
If evolution existed, why does it not work well with entropy? According to evolution, the Earth is more than 100 million years old.
Jupiter losses twice as much heat than the Earth but it is still hotter than the Earth. If the evolution is true, why is Jupiter not colder than or the same temperature as the Earth?
If you believe in evolution, why do creatures die?

what does evolution have to do with dinosaurs?
if you are talking about how long ago dinosaurs were supposed to have existed, then I see your point.
many Christians believe there were dinosaurs.
I wonder when we are gone and people look back at the 'fossils' of our generation, what will they be able to deduce? What will they think are 'absolutes' based on their data, that just weren't.
When I get to heaven, I'll ask. My life in Christ is worth so much more to me than dinosaurs, sorry.
If you cared this much about your eternal life, about where you'll spend forever, you'd be much wiser.
Everyone will be somewhere forever and it will make this time on earth feel like a day.
I pray you'll be in heaven, not hell.

bible has dinosaurs in it, and the fossil record plus all 'evidence' of evolution is more easily explained by trauma caused by the great flood. Try reading 'in 6 days: why 50 scientists believe in creation' (or something like that) its a real eye-opener.

I am not a Christian, but I will play devil's advocate and defend them.
1.The page in the Bible which spoke of the existence of dinosaurs got eaten by a dinosaur.
2. Dinosaurs never existed, Steven Spielberg made them up.
3. Dinousaurs do appear in the bible, i.e. when the bible speaks of BEASTS.
4. Christians do believe that dinosaurs existed, but we don't talk about them cos they are BIG AND NASTY.
Right thats done. Now a bit of advice to you, don't waste your time talking to Christians. They are nothing more than gullable brain-washed individuals who believe in what they do because it makes their lives more content. Let them be, they need Christianity, and for most of them it enriches their lives ten-fold. So it is harmless. But ultimately, they are a bunch of BLOODY NUTTERS.

first off...dinosaurs dying by changing climate is not a fact....
second...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~you cant ask a christian for a straight answer and then say "NO BIBLE QUOTES ALLOWED". That shows that you dont want the truth....That is like saying.."prove to me that dinosaurs existed, without showing me the fossils and any other evidence. Just your words." Its ridiculous.~~~~~~~~~~~~~you dont want the truth, you just think that you can prove someone wrong, which you cannot.
Well heres the answer....Between the 1st and second verses of the bible there is believed to be a cataclysm, something that changed the face of the earth created originally by God...something so big that he had to reform the landmasses, because the world was covered in waters of void. This is believed to be the time that Lucifer and 1/3 of the angels of heaven were cast out.....which is what is believed to killed the dinosaurs b/c they wouldve acted the same as a giant meteor. Then human beings were created....before this creation we have no clue what God created..."cavemen" dinosaurs, other species and what not....There is an unknown time period between the first and second verse of the Bible...
~~````~~~~````And like others have said, with Biblical references, we can give you many Old Testament accounts of 2 beasts that were giants on Earth and scared everyone to death....the Behemoth, a giant that could crush anything (nearly perfect definition of a brontosaurus). the Behemoth could be a general name given to all of the giant beasts that lived on the earth, or a specific group....Then there was the Leviathan. He has been called a twisting serpent, a giant beast that lives in the deepest of seas and kept many of the original pre-flood civilizations on land and restricted them from moving away from land for exploration....The Leviathan has a crooked tongue, blows smoke, so possibly even fire, and kills all at sea that he wishes. There is NO account of God ever controlling these beasts.
Dinosaurs are mentioned in Job (called Behemoth and Leviathan). I'd call a massive flood a change in climate, wouldn't you? If you think the flood is a child's story that only shows up in the Bible, I suggest you google the name "Gilgamesh"
I believe that fossils were given the appearance of age, just as Adam and Eve were when they were created--with the appearance of being twenty or thirty years old. I believe that although carbon dating is "accurate" by scientific standards, it is inaccurate because science can't account for God.
Wouldn't Adam and Eve and their children have had to forge tools once they were thrust from the Garden of Eden? They were farmers and shepherds, after all...and had to build shelter...so wouldn't they have had to forge the same types of tools?
