Perfectly safe unless you're terribly out of shape.

If you're just starting out, I'd suggest 30 minutes of mild cardio 5-6 times a week. Something like taking a brisk walk as you want to get your heart pumping, get a little sweat going and get your body primed.

After a week or two, try revving it up a bit and increase the time and intensity to get your heart pumping longer and faster. Maybe try jogging a bit, not all the way mind you but enough so that you're a little out of breath. After a while you'll find you can go longer and don't get tired as easily.

Finally, go for something more intense like running. Within a few months you'll notice a huge difference in how you feel.

Yes both safe and healthy. Cardio gives your body that lean look that everyone is striving for right now. It burns fat and builds a little muscle, it is important that you stay nourished and hydrated by the right foods and drinks when doing cardio every day. Besides dehydration, there is little risk involved in having cardio in your workout everyday.

Yes but go with how you feel. If you don't feel like you have the energy for the next workout you might be overdoing it. Hard cardio daily will burn you out but walking or light running will not

do you work out already? because if not you could burn yourself out very quickly by overtraining and effect your health; overloading your immune system. even if you're fit you should have at least one rest day to let your body recover. my suggestion for an absolute beginner is 30 mins gentle cardio, 4-5 times a week, working up slowly from there.

the intensity that exercise is performed at dictates the frequency. if you perform low intensity cardio like walking then every day is fine. if you perform high intensity interval training then you would only want to perform that every other day or CNS burnout can occur.
