applying an ice pack to the back of your neck and your forehead, for ten minutes, while lying in a darkened room is very beneficial. also massaging toothpaste, yes toothpaste, on the temples can also be helpful to stop migraines.

There are many ways to treat it but mostly are very short term. As many of us know, panadol is not a good solution. I would recommend taking multi vitamin as it helps on long term. Also make use of good grade tea tree oil to relief whenever you feel headache/migrain.
I have regular headache and have been controlling well ever since I turn to these 2 products. Also drink more water.

We have treated 15 & 20 yrs Migrains.
There is no medicine for H/A OR MIGRAINE. Not only these but for almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic.
Acidity, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis, constipation, intestinal inflammation;
Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy are their causes. None of them can be treated with medicine. Our 100% success in treating migraine &H/A confirms it.
Acupuncture is the best treatment. I can treat it with naturopathy and YOG, but how can you manage pl see.
Avoid late sleeping if possible;spicy, sour, stale bakery foods and alcohole.
Sweet foods, sweet fruits, milk with sugar at bed time preferably or meals, rice and good sleep will help you.
But you try one herbal remedy- two drops of drumstick leaves' juice in opposite nostril if one side pains and both nostrils if full H/A will give you rescue. Betel leaf helps but it isvery strong.

I have been on several things through out the years. The neurologist has prescribed Topamax 100mg once a day and it works miracles for me.I don't drink caffeine. But this medicine has drastically cut down on the number and intensity of migraines. My quality of life has improved immensely.I have pain med to take if I need it ,but very seldom do.Think about it and talk with your doctor. It has really helped me.I have truly suffered years with these things ,and this medicine has helped me so much.I don't have any side effects from it. Good luck .

I have noticed I tend to get my migraines around certain "times of the month".I read somewhere that women's Calcium and Magnesium levels drop right before this time.I have been taking those supplements around that time and my headaches have been cut by at least 1/2.

Headaches can be caused by minor problems
like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more serious reasons
like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can
have harmful side effects, so it is better to
modify your lifestyle. More information available at

well, i live by excedrine migraine, but a shot of cola (not diet, but regular old coke or pepsi) always helps me if i feel one coming on. also, protein seems to help, got a tablespoon of peanut butter lying around? my mom thinks cheese helps, but i dont know about that one.
