A recent poll indicates that about 90% of high school students at a certain school believe in evolution and not special Creation or Intelligent Design. How do you interpret this?
a) The high school students are young and inexperienced; they will realize the truth when they are older.
b) Great! Shame it wasn't 100%.

c) Considering this is the only view they are taught in public school, I'm surprised it wasn't 100%. That doesn't make it true.

Too bad those kids are being taught theories in High school Thats sad and my child won't go to a school with teachers giving false information. Those teachers should be FIRED.
Good thing for the PTA, My mouth will go off on this.
They are Young and Inexperienced and being brainwashed.
They will realize the truth and stop rebelling against their parents.
Nothing but 100% undoubted indisputable FACTS better be taught in school.

Like it or not, they've probably only gotten a cursory introduction to evolutionary theory in High School, so they are young and inexperienced. Hopefully college will fill in some of the gaps so they do get it up to 100%.

This just proves that liberals are in charge of the schools and force their ignorant ways on our children.
No one with any serious degree of intelligence believes in evolution as a valid theory any more, science has shown no cause for life; or the big bang and God is the only true answer.

High school students are competing for a grade in order to complete the requirements of graduation. many do not "think for themselves," but rather are complying to the requirements of the schools. As they grow and mature, they will develop the capacity to think more for themselves.

That they are parroting what they have just been taught and as they grow older, they will have time to think on it. I have no investment in what conclusion they reach either.
