I'm not worried about living them down. The seasoned atheist knows that there are far more formidable arguments from his counterpart than the banana or crockoduck stuff.

To each his own. Thankfully 'The World Christianity Forum On Christian Spokerspersons' didn't vote these two guys into the 'Spokespersons For All Christianity Committee', although I think they are well intentioned.

As a liberal Christian I hope the banana argument gets lots of exposure for what it is - a stupid argument for intelligent design, and a pretty good example of the observable evidence for evolution. Yes, we will because unfortunately there are people like you and as sad as I am to say, Christians, who can't understand the simple logic and rational behind, which is funny considering the atheist claim to fame is a belief backed by logic and reasoning.
