Whichcraft-a corupting influence on our young?

With the loss of traditional christian values[not the george bush type or the evagelical right], we are left with a vacuum. Since we are all seekers of spirtual truth what do we fill that void with? Unfortunately the void is being filled with every wacko belief that ever came down the pike. much of it to do with eastern mysticism. But we also have the tradional celtic version of fetish passing for religion-namely witchcraft. the worship of mother earth and everything has a spirit in it-even your computer boo. This belief system attracts a great many of the down and outs, social misfits, and even skilled labour and management, hedonist who are devoid of any sort of morality. This lifestyle is also promoted throught the media-harrypotty as an example and numerous rock groups.

This is a silly question. What do you really know about witchcraft? really, it's just a different way of praying. I'm neither "down and out" nor a "social misfit," but my own spiritual practices have been influenced by witchcraft because parts of it make sense to me. I am hardly a hedonist devoid of morality, and neither are the practitioners of witchcraqft that I have met. You obviously know very little about the practise.

Before you start making statements about any other belief then your own, at least have the sense to research and know what it is you are talking about!
The only problem we have with Christianity is that you have no respect for other beliefs!
It is this type of ignorance that leads to mis-informed youth and stupidity!

Another pseudo-philosophical bible thumper suffering from logorrhea starts spouting off at the mouth about that which he doesn’t understand. Left with no useful skills other than the not-so-amazing ability to convert oxygen to carbon dioxide, he hops up on a soapbox to pick at another belief system to bolster his flagging faith in his own. This pastime is promoted by hyped up by religious iconic figures like Dobson, and Falwell, as the duty of every would-be Christian oppressor. Have I about covered it? At least the so-called “Fetishes-passing-for religions” (do you know what a fetish is?) preach equality, and respect for their fellow man, and don’t stoop to facetious, and malicious propaganda to promote their own ranks.

And you call being threatened by a judgmental God on the right path, I don't think so. Wicca is less harmful than all the Christian crap you people try to dish out and force us to follow. Why are you blaming Wiccans anyway. When it comes down to it, it is all about free will and how you want to live your OWN life. Are you serious? You are really trying to say that Harry Potter the books/movies will be a religion? And even so It is every ones choice to believe in god it is not your right to choose for them. There is nothing wrong with trying to spread the word of god and offering to take people to church to show them the light but past that you are really just making matters worse then you have bad Christians. Anyways if you would actually listen to god and do what he says you will find forcing your god is not on the program you want to. I don't doubt that for a second but if you truly serve god than you do as he wishes not as you do. Let the Lord be your Sheppard.

Since witchcraft doesn't exist, how can it have a corrupting influence? The only thing that truly can corrupt the young is the parents that are supposed to be raising them. Frankly, it is sickening how everyone blames "society", "religion", or something outside of the parents as corrupting the young. It's about time people stop having children unless they are willing to accept the responsibility that comes with it. Children don't raise themselves. Bad children are a result of bad parenting. Period.

YOU ARE A FOOLISH CHRISTIAN. I am a Druid, a REAL LIFE GOD DAMN DRUID WHO BELIEVES IN MOTHER EARTH, just like over 2.5 million other people, but you think of it as Paganism, and stupid people listen to that belief, for Mothers sake, why do you adults, who have once been (rebellious) teenagers yourself, think that just because there is a gap in Christianity, you think its all witchcraft and stuff, you are WRONG, there is Atheism, and Druidism to fill the gap, when Paganism say "Goddess" They "think" they are talking about a female god, when they are actually talking about Gaea, or Mother Earth.
