Yes, it should. It has less side effects than chemically-created pain killers which destroy your liver, renal function, etc. and if it can help somebody, why the hell not? Using the excuse that people will "abuse" it is absurd. As a society, we have a tendency to let the one bad apple spoil the whole bunch.

Yes definately. If cannabis works to help peoples pain and discomfort it should be legal. There is nothing worse than seeing people in pain. Cannabis use in MS sufferers has been proven to be beneficial to their pain. Cannabis probably has greater benefits than long term use of pharmaceutical analgaesia anyway. As long as it was only available on prescription and was given in a controlled manner.

I thought morphine was meant to help with that? And if you havent studied pharmacy or herbology for the last 4 years then why would you listen to anyone who hasn't a clue about the real effects? I also know several people who have serious short-term memory problems as a result of smoking cannabis on regular basis.

I think it should be legal for everyone, like in the Netherlands (what a great country!). The government would make so much money off it they couldn't loose out. It would also be safer for users because it wouldn't be full or petrol or glass. It would also reduce the amount of people in prison for drug convictions. As long as it was properly regulated and kids didn't get their hands on it, there should be no problems. Of course, the government can't even stop kids from buying alcohol and cigarettes so I'm sure some of them would get their hands on it.

My Brother-in-law suffers from psoriasis (not sure of correct spelling) and he smokes some weed and it helps with his condition.
When he doesn't have any his skin gets so inf lammed and sore it is agony for him and he has to have time off work, he has had all the skin solutions from the Doctor and none of them seem to help him as much as his weed.
So my answer to your question would be yes.
I don't touch the stuff myself but each to their own.

I can't see any reason that it wouldn't be.

There are other drugs that have limited medical uses that are legal for medicinal use that are far more dangerous and addictive than cannibus.

Keeping cannibus from people who could benefit from it is just cruel.
