The sounds of nature are best to meditate to, in my opinion. I wouldn't want music distracting me from thinking about nothing.

it depends on what kind of meditation you do and your personal preference. I sometimes meditate to rock, but then sometimes i do easy listening, but mostly i do it in silence. Mediation is about reflection, sometimes it's hard to reflect when there's someone singing.

I like norah jones...very soothing..i also use a tai chi cd...there are plenty on the market.....whatever quiets your mind and allows you to open yourself up to the divine.....depends on your personal choice
