These are the scriptures I found about Michael and scriptures about Jesus. At Daniel 10:13 it calls Michael ONE OF THE CHIEF PRINCES.( one of the foremost princes NWT) This is in contrast to what the Bible says about Jesus. He is the ONLY BEGOTTEN SON of God, He is NOT ONE OF MANY.

In Jude 9 it says that archangel MICHAEL didn't dare rebuke the devil "even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not dare to bring a slanderous accusation against him, but said, "The Lord rebuke you!"
Could this be the same person who created the whole world, who is the "image of the invisible God", yet could not rebuke one of his creatures? It appears to me from the Bible that the archangel Michael is the angel that protects the Jews and not Jesus the creator of the universe.
.

Daniel 10:10 A hand touched me and set me trembling on my hands and knees. 11 He said, "Daniel, you who are highly esteemed, consider carefully the words I am about to speak to you, and stand up, for I have now been sent to you." And when he said this to me, I stood up trembling.
12 Then he continued, "Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them. 13 But the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted me twenty-one days. THEN MICHAEL, ONE OF THE CHIEF PRINCES, came to help me because I was detained with the King of Persia. 14 Now I have come to explain to you what will happen to your people in the future, for the vision concerns a time yet to come."
20 So he said, "Do you know why I have come to you? Soon I will return to fight against the prince of Persia, and when I go, the prince of Greece will come; 21 but first I will tell you what is written in the Book of Truth. (No one supports me against them except MICHAEL YOUR PRINCE..(Michael, the prince of you people NWT)

Daniel 12

1 "At that time MICHAEL THE GREAT PRINCE WHO PROTECTS YOUR PEOPLE, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people—everyone whose name is found written in the book—will be delivered.

Jude 9: But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not dare to bring a slanderous accusation against him, but said, "The Lord rebuke you!"

John 3: 18He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

John 5:18
Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.

1 John 4:8He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
9In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
10Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

Colossians 1:13-18, 13Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
14In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
15Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
16For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
17And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

"I am a former Jehovah's Witness...can someone please point out where in the bible does it say that Michael is Jesus??"

If you are what you claim than you shouldn't need to ask this question. You should know how Jehovah's Witnesses reach the conclusion that Michael and Jesus are the same person.

For others :

"Archangel. God’s Word refers to
Michael “the archangel.” (Jude 9) This term means “chief angel.” Notice that Michael is called the archangel. This suggests that there is only one such angel. In fact,
the term “archangel” occurs in the Bible only in the singular, never in the plural. Moreover, Jesus is linked with the office of archangel.
Regarding the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ, 1 Thessalonians 4:16 states: “The Lord himself will descend from heaven with a commanding call, with an archangel’s voice.” Thus the voice of Jesus is described as being that of an archangel. This scripture therefore suggests that Jesus himself is the archangel Michael.

Army Leader. The Bible statesthat “Michael and his angels battled with the dragon . . . and its angels.” (Revelation 12:7) Thus, Michael is the Leader of an army of faithful angels. Revelation also describes Jesus as the Leader of an army of faithful angels. (Revelation 19:14-16)
And the apostle Paul specifically
mentions “the Lord Jesus” and “his
powerful angels.” (2 Thessalonians 1:7; Matthew 16:27; 24:31;
1 Peter 3:22) So the Bible speaks of both Michael and “his angels” and Jesus and “his angels.” (Matthew 13:41) Since God’s Word nowhere indicates that there are two armies of faithful angels in
heaven—one headed by Michael and one headed by Jesus—it is logical to conclude that Michael is none other than Jesus Christ in his heavenly role."

Here's your answer!

Who Is Michael the Archangel?

THE spirit creature called Michael is not mentioned often in the Bible. However, when he is referred to, he is in action. In the book of Daniel, Michael is battling wicked angels; in the letter of Jude, he is disputing with Satan; and in Revelation, he is waging war with the Devil and his demons. By defending Jehovah’s rulership and fighting God’s enemies, Michael lives up to the meaning of his name—“Who Is Like God?” But who is Michael?

At times, individuals are known by more than one name. For example, the patriarch Jacob is also known as Israel, and the apostle Peter, as Simon. (Genesis 49:1, 2; Matthew 10:2) Likewise, the Bible indicates that Michael is another name for Jesus Christ, before and after his life on earth. Let us consider Scriptural reasons for drawing that conclusion.

Archangel. God’s Word refers to Michael “the archangel.” (Jude 9) This term means “chief angel.” Notice that Michael is called the archangel. This suggests that there is only one such angel. In fact, the term “archangel” occurs in the Bible only in the singular, never in the plural. This scripture therefore suggests that Jesus himself is the archangel Michael.

they could desire to assert this, on account which you may desire to comprehend that once Jehovah's Witnesses say that Jesus isn't God, properly then Jesus can't purely be a son of God or purely a nomal human and nonetheless be the only to sacrifice His existence for us. this is exciting that persons elect to speak approximately how the trinity does not make experience (which by using the way the Bible isn't definitive approximately "I and the father are One" Why could Jesus say something so ambiguous, why could he even hint at a unison like that? you notice, Jesus does not definitively rule out the trinity) and then all the flaws that instruct the trinity, such because of the fact the actuality that Jesus has to forgive and carry our sins for us (something purely God could desire to do), it quite is a definitive information for the trinity. If Jesus wasn't God, and you call him "Lord" and "Savior," then i think of there is something iffy approximately that. in any different case, i assume you may desire to have faith that Michael the Archangel is Jesus. in keeping with probability you think in that, and that's ok. purely comprehend WHY that clarification is needed. this is because of the fact once you're taking of the trinity, then you certainly could desire to replace with something esle. the two that, or you may create an entire different faith, yet Jehovah's Witnesses are attempting to stick to the Bible, which by using the way, I'[m unsure I comprehend why Jehovah's Witnesses even settle for the Bible? i ask your self how they think of the books purely placed themselves jointly. It replaced into Early Christian bishops that placed the Bible jointly, an identical those that placed the Bible jointly placed the doctrine of the Trinity jointly (year 3 hundred's) so i does no longer have faith interior the Bible if i did no longer have faith interior the Trinity. a minimum of the Mormons do no longer settle for the actuality of the two of those issues, so as that makes a splash greater experience.

Plainly, the bible speaks of Jesus in glory and honor, but also discusses the fact that at some point (which Christians may not agree on) Jesus Christ the Son (who is much more than a mere angel) has been appointed by Jehovah God the Father as King of God's Kingdom. Jehovah God is the source of Christ's authority, so that Jesus at some point is plainly "better than the angels".

(Hebrews 1:3-4) [Jesus] sat down on the right hand of the Majesty in lofty places. 4 So he HAS BECOME better than the angels [caps added]

(Matthew 28:18) And Jesus approached and spoke to them, saying: "All authority has been given me in heaven and on the earth.

(Acts 2:36) God made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you impaled.

(John 3:35) The Father loves the Son and has given all things into his hand.

(Acts 5:31) God exalted this one as Chief Agent and Savior to his right hand

(Psalm 2:2-6) The kings of earth take their stand And high officials themselves have massed together as one Against Jehovah and against his anointed one... Jehovah himself will hold them in derision..., Saying: "I, even I, have installed my king [Jesus]

Such a "king" is not the peer of his subjects, and clearly, an "archangel" is not the peer of mere angels.

Christendom has pretended that Gabriel is also an archangel, and that Satan had been; both ideas have no foundation in Scripture. Some religions in Christendom invent names for four or five additional supposed "archangels"; those invented names have no foundation in Scripture. "Archangel" actually means "Chief of the Angels"; the fact remains that the bible itself speaks of only one single solitary archangel. The Scriptures never use the term "archangel" in the plural, but only in the singular.

Who is a better person than Jesus to be the single "Chief" of all faithful angels? Of whom can it be said that faithful angels belong to him, or are "his"?
2 Thes 1:7 Lord Jesus from heaven with his powerful angels
Rev 12:7 Michael and his angels battled

The bible certainly teaches that the archangel Michael is the same person as Jesus.

Note that Jesus the Lord calls with an archangel's voice:
1 Thes 4:14-16 Jesus died and rose again, so, too... the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a commanding call, with an archangel's voice

Do two different persons present themselves during a time of "distress" such as has "not occurred" before?

Dan 12:1 And during that time Michael will stand up, the great prince who is standing in behalf of the sons of your people. And there will certainly occur a time of distress such as has not been made to occur since there came to be a nation until that time.

Matt 24:3-21 Disciples [asked Jesus] what will be the sign of your presence...?" And in answer Jesus said to them: "...All these things are a beginning of pangs of distress. ...for then there will be great tribulation such as has not occurred since the world's beginning until now

Do two different persons both lead the heavenly armies?

Rev 19:13,14 [Jesus] is The Word of God. Also, the armies that were in heaven were following him

Rev 12:7 And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels battled

Once you study it, the bible really teaches that Michael is another name for Jesus. Though the term may confuse some, Jesus can properly be called an "archangel" or an "angel" (though not a mere angel) or a "son of God" or a "morning star" (though not a mere 'morning star'). Interestingly, the Scriptures refer to *ALL* angelic spirit creatures as "morning stars" (not just Jesus or Lucifer). Note that the archangel Jesus is uniquely elevated above mere angels by the title "the BRIGHT morning star".

Job 38:4,7 When [Jehovah] founded the earth... When the morning stars [or "angels"] joyfully cried out together, And all the sons of God began shouting in applause

Rev 22:16 I, Jesus... I am the root and the offspring of David, and the BRIGHT morning star. [caps added]

I was reading the information from the JW's. It is funny. When you read the wording of the scripture that was quoted, "It is Like" means just that. It is in reference to an archangel. Not that he is the archangel. I love how the JW's will run through a scripture, yet not fully undersand the vebage of the words. Maybe they should take some English Lit classes to understand the meanings of each word. One has to be careful not to be blinded by verbage and what one hopes it says. Also in Revelation it is another comparism to the archangel. If you know anything about war, there is a general (who would be Jesus) and then the Major (who would be Michael) and so on. Jesus is the head of all armies, yet he does have others that are directly under him to help fight the war. Please open your eyes to this and not just listen to what man teaches you.

The name of this Michael appears only five times in the Bible. The glorious spirit person who bears the name is referred to as “one of the chief princes,” “the great prince who has charge of your [Daniel’s] people,” and as “the archangel.” (Dan. 10:13; 12:1; Jude 9, RS) Michael means “Who Is Like God?” The name evidently designates Michael as the one who takes the lead in upholding Jehovah’s sovereignty and destroying God’s enemies.

At 1 Thessalonians 4:16 (RS), the command of Jesus Christ for the resurrection to begin is described as “the archangel’s call,” and Jude 9 says that the archangel is Michael. Would it be appropriate to liken Jesus’ commanding call to that of someone lesser in authority? Reasonably, then, the archangel Michael is Jesus Christ. (Interestingly, the expression “archangel” is never found in the plural in the Scriptures, thus implying that there is only one.)

Revelation 12:7-12 says that Michael and his angels would war against Satan and hurl him and his wicked angels out of heaven in connection with the conferring of kingly authority on Christ. Jesus is later depicted as leading the armies of heaven in war against the nations of the world. (Rev. 19:11-16) Is it not reasonable that Jesus would also be the one to take action against the one he described as “ruler of this world,” Satan the Devil? (John 12:31) Daniel 12:1 (RS) associates the ‘standing up of Michael’ to act with authority with “a time of trouble, such as never has been since there was a nation till that time.” That would certainly fit the experience of the nations when Christ as heavenly executioner takes action against them. So the evidence indicates that the Son of God was known as Michael before he came to earth and is known also by that name since his return to heaven where he resides as the glorified spirit Son of God.

You will only find untruths such as this if to suit them, they have changed the scriptures, there is not a Christian anywhere who would demote Christ(God) to the position of a creature(Angel)
