Well, you know you are soon going to HAVE to tell them....
IF...you are not wanting to be there when they hear this...have you considered a letter to them?
If they disown you ..you will have to accept that....and hopefully one day they will realise no matter whatyou have done with the money, you are thier Son and that is what is really important.
I think I would go and see my Dad and Mum, and tell them I need to chat with them, sit down and tell them all that happened.... naturally they would be cursing....angry...furious..
But hopefully they would remember that I am still alive, it could be worse, and I am their blood, and all, and eventually forgive me, and work something out....
If you feel this is too hard, write it all in a letter. The sooner you do it the better.
We all make mistakes ...at least you are still alive and all...that is better than any amount of money.
good luck.

He will be very angry, upset and be feeling VERY betrayed!
And how will be finishing the house now with no money?
I am guessing so far he has put money into the house to help you guys out; I don't think he will disown you!
But I do think it would be a good idea to tell him there is no money NOW! Not wanting until you get there, He could be thinking of getting a loan to finish the house and paying it back when you bring the money when you come,
Don’t lie and say the bank won’t let you take out all the money so you didn’t bring it or you felt scared carrying that much money with you or that you lost the cheque…
Be honest!!!

I suggest you are honest with him Second get a part time job and make a little extra cash till the house is settled I had a great job Friday Saturday and Sunday as a Demo clerk It paid 12.00 dollars an hour i worked 12 to 4 Just handing out samples and talking Just do something to make up for what you did Go though your house and sort out what you do not need and have a yard sale (easy way to make money and get rid of things you no longer need or wear) There are alot of legal ways to make money Take a hobby a go for it

Disown you--probably not. Disappointed with you--definitely. I suggest that you tell the truth about the money. Dishonesty only leads to more aggravation. Choose the appropriate time to discuss it, i.e., right after watching favorite TV show--preferably a comedy. Timing is crucial. Don't approach the conversation right after they have a bad day. Be straight forward and honest.
