I wouldn't worry too much, being 18 and a virgin is nothing out of the ordinary. And what does a virgin LOOK like anyway?

Take it as a compliment. In a roundabout way, people saying you don't look like a virgin, could also be saying; " I can't believe you are a virgin, you look/are hot, you must be worth making love to. "

I don't mean to be crude, just doing a bit of reading other peoples' minds.

Well, first of all hon, in todays society I guess lots of people are losing their virginity at like 14-16 so when they come across somone who hasnt their probably just like wow. Also, maybe when people come across you they think you are such a beautiful and attractive girl, they cant believe that you havent done anything yet. Actually, I know you may feel a bit out of the loop wheras you havent lost your v-card, but I am proud of you. You dont WANT to be another one of those 19 year old whores with every STD you can name, and a baby on the way do you? (lol.. exaggerating a little) but dont feel bad or bothered because you havent lost your virginity! It shows that you are strong and that you dont just give in to any guy, and thats really something to be proud of. It doesnt mean that you arent as attractive, or mature, it means that you have respect for your body. Like I said, It will happen sometime, dont worry! And until it does, dont feel bad because you dont give in. Just keep being yourself, smiling, maybe flirt a little, dress a little more provacative perhaps, and be confident!

Good for u. But y are u telling everybody u meet that u r a virgin? do u want an award? sound like u like the attention it gets u. surely its just ur own business what u r. if u weren't a virgin would u go around telling everyone? Its not a big deal either way to be honest. Surely u should be a virgin cause that's ur choice. Not so u can tell everyone and try and shock them r something. i don't mean to be rude. but i just don't get were u r going with this question.

Join the club. I'm a virgin too. But you shouldn't go around telling people that. How the heck do you meet someone and say that upfront. It's no wonder people don't believe you. Get a grip and stop telling people that. Unless it comes up after you've known the person for a long while. Otherwise, it's none of their business.

I think people are just shocked because it's so rare nowadays to meet a virgin after the age of 18. I find it very commendable and wished I would have waited for my husband. It's sad when today's norm is to be having sex at an early age. Stereotypes can be hurtfull, and a pretty young girl is hardly ever thought of as a virgin. Stick to your guns and don't let anyone get you down. I say come up with a good comeback for people when they say, so I hear your a virgin....tell them so I hear you have crabs....I know I don't!!

If people don't want to believe that you are a virgin that is their look out. Be proud that you are still a virgin at the age of 18. Its silly when people say that you don't look like a virgin...after all there isn't a particular way that a virgin is suppose to dress like, so don't let it worry you

Congratulations on being a virgin! That is something to be proud of..not embarrassed of, or ashamed of..
When that special man comes into your life, it will be very special for both of you..
Don't worry about what other people say or think.
But then again how does the topic of conversation come up about virginity? Unless someone asks you outright if you're a virgin or not..which would be a strange question to ask someone..Because it's really none of their business..I just wouldn't volunteer your personal information..
In the meantime, take care!

you can still be a virgin even if you flirt with people, wear revealing clothing or meet different guys so that has nothing to do with it at all. if you know you're a virgin, thats all that matters. those that say you dont look like a virgin are insane. its impossible to tell from looking. stop worrying so much about what others think. you know the truth.

Hahah....

Shall I tell you a piece of interesting bit...

I am a virgin too and people never beleive so. That's not our problem, yaar... Just keep sticking to the title... You should feel high/good to be a virgin!

Virgins are higly active and somewhat sexy. (Don't mistake me, people:). When your outcome nature is somewhat dynamic and pretty attentive, people will obviously think that you should have been crushed somewhere. Well, That's the case too, nowadays. That's the reason why people won't beleive that you and me aren't a Virgin...

Don't listen to small minded people. Be proud of what you are, I bet many people had wished they lost their virginity at an older and more mature age. whatever you do though don't give in to the pier pressure there is today to loose it. Your first time should be special and now you are older and wiser as they say you have the opportunity to give yourself to someone who really is the one. Good luck and don't forget BE PROUD!!!
