Moses was exteremely meek, however this meekness is first and foremost before God.
Mic 6:8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, .... but to walk humbly with thy God?

While Moses was a highly patient and meek man, the total purging of enemies was a common place in those days, so Moses was merely acted as any enemy would in the same situation.
It would appear, that the actual problem is with the customs of the era, and not Moses or the Bible.

Do you know what meek means? Apparently not. Meekness does not mean you don't get angry. It does mean you carry out the Word of the Lord. It would take too long to explain the situation in Numbers. Suffice it to say, Moses was angry because the people of Israel had disobeyed the Lord in brining back Midianites into the camp after defeating them in war. They were to be destroyed because of what they had done to Israel.

The two events are separated by nearly 40 years. During that time he had developed as a leader, and his personality had matured. Has your personality changed any over the last 5 or 10 years?
No contradiction. Just growth in Moses over that time.

There's no contradiction. It says Moses was very meek (or humble)-ABOVE the others, not that he never got angry. There is also at least one more instance recorded of Moses getting angry.

I have a feeling I know where you went to get all of your contradictions. It's a website, right? One specifically for contradictions in the Bible? Unless you read the entire Bible you do not know the contradictions it has.
I have met several Atheists and people of other faiths who have studied the Bible. That means--READ the Bible and even though they do not believe they realize that there are no contradictions.
If you choose to make claims--be able to back them up. I hope you've read the entire Bible I hope you have found these things yourself but it seems these haven't come out of study and you have no hope to even try to understand them. Until then, you are uneducated and really not worth the time trying to discuss anything with.

Moses was humble, the most humble man on earth says the Bible. He also didn't speak well. God put him in a position to lead Israel to the promised land and he had to speak to all of Israel and stand before them every day. If you study his life, you will see he also was kind of quick tempered. I feel is came from the frustrations of his unusual life. He was raised in the Egyptian culture, yet his mother (who was his nurse maid) taught him about God and this must have been very confusing sometimes. Then, God calls him to lead his people out of Egypt; a man who stutters when he has to speak publicly, a man who really doesn't want such a responsible position. Then, when he becomes leader, he has to deal with an obstinate bunch of wishy washy, griping, grumbling people every time things get rough. Yeah, he was "wroth" a number of times. In this passage, God had told Moses to send in the Israelites to destroy the Midianites and "carry out the Lord's vengence on them". That meant to wipe them out. This happens several times in the Old Testament when God commanded the Isralites to destroy "the enemies of God" . Sometimes He said to destroy men, women, and yes, even children...sometimes just the men and women.....and He always had specific orders about the loot and animals...sometimes don't take it, sometimes do, sometimes like here, they anything that didn't burn in the fire could be kept.
Moses got mad 'cause they didn't follow God's orders. It was God's orders, not Moses'. Moses was always frustrated when he had to be the go-between for God and disobedient Israel. It was a thankless job for sure. And Moses had to work overtime to plead to God not to destroy Israel for their disobedience and grumbling and ungrateful hearts.
You would do well to research the life of Moses before you come up with such ridiculous statements, or at least not take scripture out of context to proove that silly reasoning. Moses is a very interesting character to study, even if you don't care for the spiritual aspects of his life and I would suggest you look into his biography for a good read.
The Bible does not contradict itself.....people just twist scripture to say something it doesn't. In any case, God bless you and reveal the meaning of any scriptures you care to explore.

moses was a man with a personality like the first quote asserts. he was also a judge and ruler over the people of Israel; he had then to execute the law as your second quote stipulates. that law was by the way a result of israels demands.

So you are saying that in your entire lifetime, you've never been meek and you've never been angry, that you maintain one single emotion your entire life.
There is no contradiction here, it's the same man, Moses.
