It is said that no one has seen the father but the son. And the new covenant was to hold testimony of Jesus as the new covenant. So: If JWs are called Jehovah's Witnesses, Are they testifying about Jesus?

Overuse of the word Jehovah taints a Jehovah’s Witnesses understanding of Jesus. The word Jehovah was not actively used by Russell. It barely appears in Russell’s Studies in the Scriptures. Russell stated that true Christians would only ever been known by the name of Christ.

Zion’s Watch Tower October 1888 “It was an evidence that those Corinthians, who took the party names, had never really appreciated the oneness of the Body of Christ; that they did not really appreciate that Christ is the only head, leader and standard; and that his is the only name by which his followers should recognize themselves and each other…. All true teachers are not only sent by Christ but receive their instructions from him; and any man who attempts to put his own or any other name upon all or any portion of the church is an opponent, an adversary to the true and only Lord and Head of the church.”

It was not until 1926 that the importance of the name was introduced by Rutherford.

God’s Kingdom of a Thousand Years Has Approached p. 288 “Especially since the year 1926 they have been making known the name of the heavenly Father of the King Jesus Christ, even going to the extent of embracing the name “Jehovah’s witnesses” in the year 1931.”

It was not until 1939 that The Watchtower and Herald of Christ’s Kingdom was renamed The Watchtower Announcing Jehovah’s Kingdom. This is interesting because most Witnesses believe that there have always been a group of Witnesses to Jehovah’s Name, and that it was of great importance to Russell. In actual fact the most important teaching for Russell was Jesus’ Ransom Sacrifice.

In the first century, those whom Jesus and the apostles talked to knew Jehovah.

The Jews had 1000's of years of coming to know Jehovah, who they didn't know was Jesus, his Son.

Today, the reverse is true. Because trinitians have removed Jehovah's name from the bible, many today don't know who Jehovah is.

Since Jesus has been appointed to be a King, High Priest, and Judge for Jehovah, one can not witness for one without witnessesing for the other.

I'll answer your question without judging anyone -

The name comes from Isaiah 43:10 - ""You are my witnesses", is the utterance of Jehovah..."
We don't believe that Jehovah and Jesus are the same being, however that does not take away from JC's important and necessary role for every human.
John 17:3 states "This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ."
So when we go door to door, we talk, not only about God(Jehovah), but Jesus as well. Without JC, no one could really draw close to God.
I hope that answered your question.

When Jesus says, Behold He is coming quickly is meaning the event , the taking away, meeting the Lord Jesus in the Air, the Rapture. God said I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end of all things. In Revelation it is God pouring out his wrath on all unbelievers. Jesus will come and get the Church, (the Believers), his Saints, this is the Rapture, which will take place just before the seven years of Tribulation, The Wrath of God will be poured out onto all those remaining, that have chosen to not believe and have turned against God.

Jesus himself is a Witness of Jehovah, but of course Christians also bear witness to Jesus as well as to Jehovah.

(Acts 1:7,8) [Jesus said] the Father has placed in his own jurisdiction; but you will receive power when the holy spirit arrives upon you, and you will be witnesses of me

Like Jesus, the apostles, and first century Christians, Jehovah's Witnesses both witness personally and bear witness to others regarding God's personal name, his majestic personality, and Kingdom purposes. In doing so, they align themselves with Jesus Christ and the prophets.

(Isaiah 43:10) “You are my witnesses,” is the utterance of Jehovah

(Isaiah 43:12) So you are my witnesses,” is the utterance of Jehovah, “and I am God.

(Hebrews 12:1-2) Because we have so great a cloud of [Jehovah's] witnesses surrounding us, let us also put off every weight and the sin that easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, as we look intently at the Chief Agent and Perfecter of our faith, Jesus

(Revelation 1:5) Jesus Christ, “the Faithful Witness”

(Acts 5:38,39) Do not meddle with these men, but let them alone; (because, if this scheme or this work is from men, it will be overthrown; but if it is from God, YOU will not be able to overthrow them;) otherwise, You may perhaps be found fighters actually against God.”

We are witnesses for the one true God Jehovah, but we readily accept that his dear Son gave his life as a ransom for us all, to gain back what our original parents Adam & Eve lost.
We believe that Jesus is the Son of God as the Bible says, and is therefore the One that God, his Father, sent into this world “in order that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16) We believe that Christ Jesus will take away the sin of the world during his peaceful reign of one thousand years.
His faithful followers preached his message through much opposition. For some of these it even meant losing their lives for the sake of Christ. But in these days in which we now live, and which are described in the Bible as the “last days” or the “critical times” of this system of things, there are relatively few people who truly accept the teachings of the Bible and who have the hope of living eternally because of the redeeming value of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ for mankind. This is a strange teaching indeed to some, but it is nevertheless true. Jesus said: “This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ.”—2 Tim. 3:1; John 17:3.
We bring the message of good news to all people in this time of the end regarding Jehovah's purpose for mankind and the earth which all meek ones will inherit.
We look forward to the fulfillment of all the Bible's promises.
We look forward to having Jesus and his co-rulers ruling over us as King of his Father's heavenly government until the time when he gives the Kingdom back to Jehovah. (1 Cor. 15:24
As a result of the Son’s handing over the kingdom to his God and Father, the kingdom becomes the property of Jehovah God.
At the termination of Jesus’ Thousand Year Rule, earth’s inhabitants will be both in position and under responsibility to answer for their course of action before Jehovah God as the Supreme Judge, without recourse to anyone as legal intermediary, or helper. Jehovah, the Sovereign Power, thus becomes “all things to everyone.” This means that God’s purpose to “gather all things together again in the Christ, the things in the heavens and the things on the earth,” will have been fully realized.—1Co 15:28; Eph 1:9, 10.

Yes. As witnesses of the actions recorded in the Bible, we offer witnesses about both God and his son Jesus.

They do testify about Jesus, but with false teachings that are not biblical.

JW do not believe Jesus is God, therefore they refuse to give Jesus the worship He is due.

Nor do they believe in the Holy Trinity.

Both of these are historical Christian doctrines revealed by Christ and the Bible, and defined at the Council of Nicea in 325 A.D. This is why JW is not a Christian denomination.
