15 years ago, late at night, I was in a semi-awake state and I suddenly felt as if a type of "spirit" was in my room.... circulating closer and closer around me. All this happened in, say, 15 seconds.

It entered into my head, went deep into my soul and started asking questions, probing, asking difficult questions about my faith - and I knew this spirit was not the Devil, or Evil, but an "agent" of the Devil, and he was seeking partners, accomplices, agents to work for the Devil - and the questions got so fast, so quick - questions about faith, and Jesus and all of that rigamarole (I am no strong believer in Christianity, believe me, but I do have a strong faith in God) until the questions got so bad, I had to force my "self" to shout over his questions, "...and, I DO believe in God!!" And very quickly, he/it left - boom!! I suppose he continued on his way, and I've never been bothered by things like this again.

Have you had something like this happen? Long answers preferred.

So far, so good, but I think what I'm wanting for an answer are discriptions of what happened to you. No ghost stories, please. If you haven't had an experience similar to this, please don't respond. If you have, it doesn't necessarily have to be a Jesus-related story, nor am I looking for confirmations of your faith - but if that happens to be where the story goes, that's fine... Again, I'm no Bible-thumper, but just wanting similar experience-type stories and want to relate what happened to me with similar events. Lastly, I won't be responding to anybody personally, so if your motivation is "attention", it won't be given by me to you.

Thanks for your stories!

It was January 24, and the time was about 9:00 in the evening. The ground was covered with white snow. I just finished my homework and started thinking about what I should do the next day. I relaxed on my bed which was facing the windows outside, and my room was on the 6th floor. I was living all alone. I had a broken heart because of a girl I felt I was in love with her, but she did not share with me the same feeling. It was the last semester for me at the University, and I was graduating that winter after a long hard years of studying combined with very hard struggle perhaps beyond my limits. I started thinking about what is awaiting my life after graduation, and what shall I do with the girl whom I had so much passion for her. It was the most difficult timing I was passing through. I have my Bible with me all the time. I held my Bible in my hand and start concentrating while my eyes were closed. Suddenly A person dressing in white from the top of his shoulder until his bare feet. He looked so beautiful and had tall blond hair shown over his shoulder; he truely looked like an angle! I start looking at him saying to my self who could that be. He appeared to me outside my windows and his feet were standing in the air. He wasn't in my room but he was clearly seen from my wide windows 6 floors above the ground. As I kept looking at him and wondering what was that I was seeing, the angel seemed to leave a mark in my mind without saying any thing but I felt that he did something to me. He read my thoughts and left a stamp in my mind but did not say any thing. He was tall perhaps 6.3 feet. He had no wings attached to him. After a little while I started to check him out. I moved my eyes and looked at his shoulder then at his chest then I kept coming down until I reached to his bare feet. At this time, I said to my self how is it that this person could stand in the air and not fall down. Immediately as I said that while gazing at his bare feet, the angel started to fly upward and kept flying until he disappeared. I heard a voice inside me inner self telling me that that was Jesus whom you have just seen. I could not control my self then but in the depth of my inner spirit, I cried out so loud as the angel (or Jesus) flew away, and in a voice that filled the sky of the city I lived in, I let my cry be heard in the sky saying “Have Mercy On Me”. I heard the echo of my voice vibrating in the skies of the whole city. Then I opened my eyes. It wasn’t a dream that I saw. I was not asleep yet and I was all dressed up and not ready to sleep.
After I opened my eyes, my mind was so occupied with the vision and I was dazzled from the scene that I had just visioned. Then I prepared my self to sleep and I felt tired and I slept like a baby.
This is a true story!

Yes, I did have a visit one night. No quite as dramatic as yours but none the less frightening. I was a single mom and only started getting back into my faith. I have been a Christian for many years, but backslid a few years, yet still never stopped believing. Anyway, one night I awoke to see a horrible looking figure standing at the side of my bed. It looks insane with outstretched arms, horrible face. I was so scared I could not speak or yell. I finally managed to just get out the words, "Jesus, Jesus". It disappeared instantly and I felt a great comfort and rolled over and went right back to sleep. Demons are real but Jesus is stronger.

Once a few years ago there were somethings going on in my church that had divided the congregation. I was questioning whether I should stay or go. I had been praying for weeks waiting on a answer. It came in the strangest way. I was actually standing in the parking lot of a local resturant waiting on my husband to finish paying the bill and a complete stranger a man i had never seen before in my life walked by me stopped turned and said Life is in the word of God and there is still life in your church and walked away. I had never met this man before he had never been to my church I would have noticed we had a small congregation. I know God had sent an answer thru a complete stranger. The man contuned walking into the resturant as if he had not even spoken to me. To this day I dont know if he even knows he did. With all my heart I belive the Holy Spirit spoke thru him.

Long ago when my cousin spent the night with me, we were sitting up in bed talking. My cousin whispered," someone is standing by the window." I looked over by the window. Moonlight was shinning very bright into the room. I saw a man standing inside the room, by the window. The best way of describing him is he looked like a skinny Colonel Sanders with a top hat like Pres. Lincoln's. Like an old Southern plantation gentleman. We covered our head and screamed for our parents. When no-one came, finally we uncovered our heads and he was gone. That was on a farm years ago and I can still see him as vividly today as I could then. Strange ,but true.

No, but I have had a experience that was almost opposite of what you describe. A spirit came but it was holy and good.

This is no "event of faith." It's merely the semi-sleeping brain playing tricks on you. Most people interpret such phenomenon (especially the ever-so-natural-&-common sleep paralysis,) as "supernatural" out of their own need to feel special.

Some things are best left unsaid.
I had an occurrence once myself, not within me though.
I quickly learned that no one would believe me, so I never speak of it.
