I know this depends on how old she is but if she's older than about 13-14 then I have a solution! I know this sounds weird but take her to a tannig salon. Have her use a medium bed about 3 times a week until she starts to get a good base tan. Then have her stop going. Then she'll have a really good base tan so she won't burn as easily. That's originally what tanning beds were used for, not for people to get totally brown.
Once she has a good base tan, she won't burn as easily!
=D I hope I helped.
[She might have to wear sunscreen in the bed though...or tanning lotion]

a newborn that youthful at the instant are not allowed to circulate out interior the solar without sunscreen, till they're very lined up with long sleeves, pants and a hat. I even have 2 teenagers 2 and four. I never enable them out in any respect after 10 am or till now 5 pm without sunscreen or being lined by utilising clothing and a hat. basically our rule. At this age one undesirable sunburn places them at greater beneficial threat for pores and skin maximum cancers while they're older.

She stands a good chance of getting skin cancer, if she continues not to wear sun screen her skin will burn at first. When I mean at first, is that everytime she goes outside without sun screen on her skin will get burn, get tan, get burn, get tan, but what she don't know is that each time her skin is getting darker, her skin is getting more like leather. She will start to loose some degree of feeling on her skin everytime she goes out in the sun. Her nerves just under her skin will be getting cooked along with her skin. This of course , will take several years , sooner if she continues to get sunburned everytime she goes out in the sun. The color of her skin will get almost black and with hardly any feeling. I live in Hawaii.

How old is she? If she is old enough to understand, explain that every sunburn increases the risk of skin cancer by 14%. If not "because I told you too" might be the best way to go.

Send her to a dermatologist and have them sit down with her and show her photos of what will happen if she doesn't wear sunscreen. Let them show her photos of what skin cancer can do to her. Maybe they can introduce her to someone that has had skin cancer and tell her what they had to go through to be cured.

That's not a question. Get the one that you spray on and sneak attack her. Or don't let her go out. I remember a parent getting charged with negligence and child endangerment when they brought their kid into the ER with severe sunburn...

Tell her to talk to me. I used to burn - (ignorance) and wound up with Melanoma. It has not been fun.
She will still tan with sun screen.
It's like riding in a fast car without a seat belt
running in the street after a ball in traffic
it's a risk.

if you are too keen to help her ... then may be a tight slap would help her understand the importance.
Else leave her alone. She would come to know on her own.... you can take a horse to water.... nothing beyond that.
