I choose simple:
an apple (about 80 calories)
a banana (about 100 calories)
any fruit I feel like eating...grapefruit, grapes, raspberries...

I also like a handful of fresh nuts (pistachios are my favorite)

Or go for a Yoplait...I usually eat half of one and reserve the rest for later because one is too much for me (180 cal), and 1/2 of one is perfect (90 cal).

Also, sometimes, I feel like having cheese and I just keep in mind that about 100 calories is about the size of a 1 inch cube.

Also I use as snack any leftover vegetables from the previous day dinner...broccoli, cauliflowers, carrots, with some vinaigrette...mmmmm

1 eggo low carb waffle, toasted
2 tablespoons sugar free (splenda tastes best) maple syrup
handful of blueberries, chopped strawberries, or red rasberries (or mix and match)
cool whip "free"
waffle = 64 calories
cool whip = 15 calories
1/4 c blueberries = 21 calories
1/8 c splenda maple syrup (2 tbsp) = 07.5 calories
(3tbsp = +3.75 calories = yum)
=107.5 calories 0r
yum =111.25 calories

around 30 grams of carbs (perfect for a snack)
only 1 gram of fat, for the special K lowfat waffle, and 0.47 g of fat for a full cup of blueberries (!),you'll be using acouple of ounces for a fat total of 1.12 g of fat

This is blueberry shortcake for the diet conscious, and strawberries have even less fat - 0.45g per cup!

It's easier to eat if you cut the waffle first.

A good Snack low in carbs is Beef Jerky. It comes in a variety of flavors, so you can find one that you like. Another Idea is unsalted peanuts and sunflower seeds...

I like raw sugar snap peas...they come in small bags for snacking (don't eat the whole bag though). It is a vegetable, but it has a bit of sweet, also try red or yellow peppers.
Also, try a couple slices of avacado wraped in turkey... containes good fat and good eats moderation is key.

Dried fruit, rice cakes, raw nuts, celery sticks, carrot sticks. . .Oh, they also sell those little snack packs which are called "100 Calories" and they give you things like crackers in portions equal to 100 calories, so you don't have to keep track yourself, it's pretty handy.

Slice red bell peppers dipped in low-fat ranch dressing - kind of a sweet/tangy taste.
