Matthew 6:1 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.
2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
3 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:
4 That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.

That is true. Because if you give with fanfare it will stimulate your pride. And pride is a great hindrence on every religious path. Don't give with fanfare, don't give with the expectation to get something back (even if it was only a "thank you"). Give out of compassion and loving-kindness in silence.

I'm not going to look up the precise quote, but you are right. And it is traditional that Jews honor the anonymous donation far more than the one which is given with publicity. The public donation tends to be assumed to be given for the gratitude it engenders. Although, to be fair, I think some publicity about donations is for the purpose of encouraging others to follow your example.
And nowadays, we cannot discount the significance of the tax benefit.

even in the holy Quran it s mentioned the same
264 O ye who believe! cancel not your charity by reminders of your generosity or by injury,- like those who spend their substance to be seen of men, but believe neither in Allah nor in the Last Day. They are in parable like a hard, barren rock, on which is a little soil: on it falls heavy rain, which leaves it (Just) a bare stone. They will be able to do nothing with aught they have earned. And Allah guideth not those who reject faith.
265 And the likeness of those who spend their substance, seeking to please Allah and to strengthen their souls, is as a garden, high and fertile: heavy rain falls on it but makes it yield a double increase of harvest, and if it receives not Heavy rain, light moisture sufficeth it. Allah seeth well whatever ye do.

It didn't say heaven was yours if you did this. It said the Father would see you giving in secret, and reward you openly.

It does say that, yeah. Because we shouldn't give to look good in front of others. We should give out of compassion whether we get a reward for it or not. Only God should know how much a person gives.

Matthew 6:3-4....But you, when making gifts of mercy, do not let your left hand know what your right is doing, Â that your gifts of mercy may be in secret; then your Father who is looking on in secret will repay you.

There is no need to shout aloud at every good deed . The deed it self should suffice.

The words that you quote are not in the KJV version of the bible. but feel free to interpret whatever you read there... thats what christians have been doing for hundreds of years (and why there are so many sects and cults based on christianity)
