Chemicals from medicines are what make your liver sick.
You need to drink unsweetened cranberry concentrate. 8 ounces to l gallon of water will make a drink. Drink 6 ounces every 4 hours to flush your system. The toxins will really come out. Plus drink plenty of water.
Tylenol is very very bad for your liver.I just learned on Saturday that the Hydrocodone I take for my RA plus Excedrin both have Tylenol in them and I have been overdosing every day for a long time. Now I know why I throw up every day.
If you are any type of meds. talk to your Pharmacist about the contents. Sometimes they contain things you do not know about.

So far, no medicines have been made to help the liver and make it strong to prevent diseases. The Liver is our "detoxification organ". As a matter of fact, drugs can contribute to liver disease especially if abused
But there are some pharmaceutical companies like LiverAide that claims to protect the liver from diseases. But it has no approved therapeutic claim yet by the Department of Health. Even so, this supplement or alternative drug is out on the stores and surprisingly, it comes to a point that it will be out of stock due to more people are buying, due to attraction in TV commercials and endorsements
You can try this drug. THough it has no approved therapeutic claim, it is already registered in the bureau of food and drugs

Providing that you have a normal healthy liver, there is nothing you can take and nothing you should take. Chemicals are ordinarily filtered and metabolized by the liver, and it ordinarily appreciates it more if you leave it to do the job unassisted. An adequate diet is more than sufficient to provide all you need. Things sold as liver detoxifiers are just means to take your money. Your liver will of course, remove them, but it's just doing it's job and doesn't particularly benefit from the extra work.

No medicine unless you have liver disease. Liver disease can be treated with interferon. Otherwise staying away from medicine is the best thing you can do for your liver. Everything we put in our body runs through our liver. Food, water, meds, caffeine, etc. Our liver filters it out for our body. Put the least harmful, processed items in your body and eat healthy food. I have also heard beets are really good for the liver. I personally hate beets!
