Isabel in Heaven we will not experience the passing of time as we know it here, and not only this we will not be living a passive life but one that is dynamic and totally fulfilling.
Many people mistakenly believe that Heaven is nothing but kneeling in front of God and continually praising Him, but this is a misguided concept, we will have plenty to do and much to see.
Jesus told the Disciples this; `No eye has ever seen no ear has heard nor has it entered into the heart of man what God has prepared for those who love Him`

i read a book a couple of years ago called Life After Death, about a woman who had a near death experience that went on for some 20 mins, the book described her experience obviously. I can't remember the details, but a key element of it was that there were beautiful gardens in the part she visited of the afterlife, and they were tended by people who loved gardening while on this earth. She asked her companion (who i think was wearing monk's robes, not sure now) about this and he said that everyone in heaven has a role to play, and it is chosen (for them or by them, not sure) on the basis of their true calling, talents, etc.
About 2 years ago a pal of mine visited a medium to try to contact her mother, who passed away about four years ago. She made contact with her successfully, and had a long conversation about her "job" in heaven, she works with the spirits of small children who have "passed over" suddenly, she said they need a lot of help adjusting to the change. She also mentioned that everyone up there has a different job to do - echoing what i read in that book. isn't that interesting???
