As someone who actually does study science, I find it offensive. They don't ask biologists about evolution because they know they don't want to hear our answers. If they don't like what scientists say, the next step is to try and discredit entire fields of study. Somehow, the majority of Americans now believe that scientists have so many disagreements that the average person knows as many "facts" as the specialists in the field.

I do actually get fed up with the science questions in here at times...
If you want to ask about science , there is a science section
I posted about this before , asking why " some " people believe that all Atheists are scientists

It is not science that invented these things, it was God working through his loyal subjects. Haven't you read the Gospels of Fred that clearly details the invention of the internet. Of the Gospels of Hector which shows detailed diagrams of the inner workings of the plasma tv.
Or some sh!t like that.
Felpa De Osa - what you describe is witchcraft - how unchristian!

lol you mean like the electricity ?modem/dsl/cable? indoor plumbing?
I haven't seen his questions, but I always find it strange that they want to ask those in the R&S section rather than in the Science section.
Why do people assume that all atheists have a degree in some form of science?
I suppose you should be flattered.. you all must be coming across as very intelligent if they keep making that assumption :)

He's showing typical christian hypocrisy. I bet he even goes to the doctors, and buuys tylenol over the counter when he's not well. He probably has cable too. And I bet that bible he spends so much time reading was printed on a press instead of being hand written on blocks of stone. They love to pick and choose which bits of science to like, and which bits to hate.
Atheism. You know it makes sense.

well no, people do that all the time. I would recommend 2 doses of reality, taken twice daily and with food, and then some vitamin A supplements to help the eyes.

I don't know who Ed is, but I am a Christian who examines science along with religious principles. I am a truth seeker and science has helped alot with my faith in God.

Yes...
That always gives me a good chuckle when people rail against science and use the products of science to do it.
