Umm...I guess you could just pull it every so often...I have a niggling feeling that you're not actually talking about a dog

Well! You could wait until it's an adult. If it is already bad luck! That's it for growth.Your Sausage Dog has already been bred to have an abnormally long back. This will already put a great strain on it's spinal discs.Don't allow it to habitually jump up a lot of stairs or jump from a high place more than 24''.It will cause ruptured discs arthritis in a reasonably short few years. How much more do you want to put it through.
Ciao

You can't make an animal longer! It's basic and simple science. You are born with a certain kind of bone structure and you are limited to your growth by that. They are not like fish or lizards that can grow larger depending on their environment.
Maybe you should give the dog back.

How can your cute sausage dog make you taller?
Why would you want to make a dog that uncomfortable? Those dogs have a rough time anyway, do to their length. Their backs are easily broken because of the distance between their front and back legs. There is no support for the back.
I don't know if their is a way to do it, but please reconsider. Your dog could suffer from the results.

There is actually a way to do this. I saw a special about it on discovery channel. They do a series of exercises and give the dog special supplements. Apparently it is relatively common. So you could probably find it at your local pet store.
I don't know about the side affects, but the people on .tv. were swearing by it. They interviewed this one lady. She had 3 teeth and a six pack of beer strapped to her belt. I think her dog's name was Nascar. She said that it not only made her dog freakishly stretchy and happy, but it also fixed problem behavior and got rust off nails. She mentioned something about her dog always chewing on the car parts that they had scattered on their front lawn. This treatment fixed it. You should call your vet and ask. If they don't know, then call a different vet. Call every vet.

You can't make a sausage dog or Dachshund longer. But even if it were possible, I wouldn't do it, because making a Dachshund longer will make it even prone to spinal injuries. And lastly, WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?!

The dog is the size / length he was meant to be. Leave it alone.
If you want a longer dog get a stuffed toy

Don't be stupid. The dog will be what it is, no more no less. Anything you do to try to make him longer could do a lot of damage.
