i went to a restaurant with my friend today. we sat down and had some water before we ordered some food and before my food arrived, i had this puffy pink colored lump on my upper lip. it felt a little numb and soft. i've never been allergic to anything. first it felt a little lump on my lip and then followed with a tingly sensation. it wouldnt go away for 3 hours... hm wut is this thing on my lip? could it be cold sore...?

nope. its not itchy. and for sure its not a mosquito bite... it suddenly started to grow and got bigger and bigger at the restaurant. it's soft and puffed up like theres like liquid in the puffy part. and it didnt have any pink or red lining around it either. it just started to grow a few minutes after i drank some water from the cup from the restaurant.

Sounds like a possible cold sore. Buy some Abrevia cold sore medication. It is awesome.

Was it itchy? It could have been some mosquito bite or something. It's happened to me, right at the edge of my lip line. It felt lumpy, and a bit itchy and tight. It did go away but it left a small dot.
