How many atheists do you know, Justin? You are not talking about an atheist. Justin, is it so hard to understand how some human would not believe in some god head? Even if an atheist believed Jesus wasn't some figure that some human made up he would be a good role model to follow. I am an atheist. I do not in any way believe in any personal gods. There are so many untruths written about Jesus I certainly wouldn't pick him to be my personal god. I have a tough time in believing any god creator created anything. We are not a billionth of a billionth of one percent of this universe and this universe is the same in a never ending space. We won't even discuss demensions. When Christans tell me of some never begining or ending god thought up humans for the first time blows me away. Even their bible tells of their god creating a heaven full of countless human like creatures.

I don't use God's name like that. I don't use it unless I'm talking about "the creator." I do say "sweet and holy Jesus" or something like that every once in a while, but that is because I like his teachings. I can't really decide if I believe he existed yet. And if I do come to conclusion that he didn't exist, well, I'll stop saying it just like I did with "oh my God" and what not.
God's name is being carelessly tossed around. It doesn't seem to matter who says it anymore. I seem to be one of the few who realize that it shouldn't be misused, but it should be respected whether you believe in a God or not.

It's kind of the same thing that's happened with Christmas. There are many people who aren't Christian, yet celebrate Christmas, just with out the religious aspect.
People say "Oh my god" not because they're refering to god, but because phrases and traditions simply tend to lose a little basis with time, so the meanings change. It's turned into more of a figure of speach than a cry to the lord.

Good question! Even the demons believe in Jesus Christ and just the mentioning of His name makes them tremble. I can't explain what goes on in the mind of an atheist, I can't understand why they can't see God when His mighty works are before us each and everyday--other than the devil has blinded their eyes.

Bloody good question! Not only atheists do this, but I think many Americans have perfected this sick habit. Just watch all there Hollywood movies or TV sitcoms or reality TV shows.
There is a women in one of the "Amazing Race" programs who definely lost most of her marbles. She screams "OH MY GAAAUUUUUWWWWWWDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!! the whole time when she gets exited for some stupid thing.

I've heard plenty say "HOLY SH@T" and "OH F@CK" too. Obviously a deep and abiding belief in feces and procreation. I've worked in emergency rooms for years. I have yet to have someone ask me for directions to a church for their medical care. Go figure.

Do you remember "LAZARUS and THE RICH MAN"?
after they died, Lazarus who BELIEVE GOD was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom, but THE RICHMAN who doesn't BELIEVE GOD was TORMENTED IN HELL.

Just like TODAY...... Many Who DOES NOT BELIEVE GOD. Always remember, it is appointed unto man once to DIE, but after this the JUDGMENT. - Hebrews 9:27

"19 There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:
20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, 21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. 22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. 24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. 25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. 26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.
27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house: 28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. 29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. 30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. 31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead. " - Luke 16:19-31 KJV
