He must have been certain that this war in Iraq was going to be a cake walk.

Since that hasn't turned out to be the case, we are having serious trouble getting a sufficient amount of qualified people to enlist in the military.

The entire military community is re-evaluating its position that the Republican party gives the military a more fair treatment than the Democratic party does.

In the meantime however, young people are shying away from enlisting during a time when we are bogged down in a serious military conflict abroad.

By his miscalculations about Iraq, hasn't George W. Bush done serious harm to our entire military?

The people of the U.S. and the rest of the world will not forget what happened on 9/11 !!!

You can be assured of that !!

As far as Americans go, how can we forget 9/11 if George W. Bush and Rudy Giuliani keep mentioning it practically every time they have the attention of an audience ? !!!

What the world will also not forget, is how PRUDENTLY we REACTED to 9/11 !

The world LOVES a BENEVOLENT SUPERPOWER !

A "gentle giant" is a figure beloved throughout the world's cultures.

The U.S. is no exception.

As Neil Postman said, "there is nothing more compelling than the narrative."

The world is watching how well we handle our anger and how judicious we are when we retaliate against an aggressor.

There is a benevolent super power we all know.

This super power has an abiding sense of justice.

This super power can't stand to witness suffering.

This super power is slow to anger.

This super power is quick to forgive.

This super power is HOSS CARTWRIGHT !

If, as a world super power, the U.S. conducted itself like HOSS CARTWRIGHT did in the Bonanza television series, we would be LOVED and RESPECTED by the entire world.

Our enemies wouldn't love us, but they certainly would be forced to respect us.

The character of Hoss Cartwright was the essential hub for all of the other characters to work off of.

The death of Dan Blocker in May of 72, sealed the fate of Bonanza. The show was cancelled the following January.

The other day I was wondering, about how. If one
famous guy from the Mississippi Gulf did in fact go,
instead of opposing the Neandertal instinct, then
he should have or could have or would have not
had a carerra, when or if he came back.

Problem with troublemakers like me, I don't care.
I do, but I don't.

We are simply seeing less people enlist that want money for College and otherwise wouldn't have anything to do with the military. In my mind that is good compared with the Clinton years where are military was filled with people who weren't true warriors, but did a stint only to get a college fund and would have been worthless if the bullets started flying. We need more shooters, not kids who aren't warriors at heart.

Firearms Instructor Tygh Thompson once said:
"Only a warrior can CHOOSE to be a pacifist... all others are condemned to it."

There were too many "condemned" in our military... not now.

Lets see:

The US military is having no problem enlisting high-quality recruits. And re-enlistment rates are at all time highs.

The people in the military are highly suspicious of the Democrats and see the 'pullout' talk as a betrayal of everything they have sacrificed to achieve.

I take it you have never bothered to check facts on what the people in the military think.

Man, its increadable....

Has the USA already forgot about what happen on September 11, 2001?? and forgot about who did it to us and why? I think everyone has except for George W. freakin Bush!

Al Qaeda attacked us... why? because we´re american....

where is al Qaeda now?? oh they´re in Iraq still killing us.... and the dems want us to leave, to give up, to let the group responsible for 9-11 win.... because that is what it will be seen as, a victory for them, the terrorists.... and its not likely they will stop hating us and wanting to kill us... they wil have more followers, more power, and more determination to kill us.....

I think it is more like the Press and Media that is damaging our military... not the President.
