It's another millenium myth. Many people were sure the world would end in the year 2000, but it didn't - some even killed themselves - what's that all about. The world will be here in 2013 I'm sure.

The world will not end December 21, 2012.

Even if the seven-year tribulation period was to begin tomorrow (05/21/07), seven years would bring us to the year 2014. From the end of the tribulation period, the world will continue on through the seven last plagues and the Millennium (a thousand years), to finally be destroyed after the battle of Gog and Magog.

Yeah, it was a fine story...perhaps we will have to wait for December 21, 2012 to see how wrong they were. In the mean-time, I will just continue to live a terrific life, and put all these predictions into the "radical Bull Droppings" file.

Jesus said that no man knows when the end will come, not even the angels know. Only God the father knows. NObody can predict when the end will come. Look how many times ppl tried and they were wrong.

No, the Mayan calendar does not predict that, it is simply the end of a baktun (=unit of time). If you were to hew your calendars in stone, would you hew them for infinite time? No, you would make them to work until suitably far into the future.

The Bible says that no one knows the times set for the end.
Who can know but God?

Well, I've been wondering that myself. I'll just wait to see what happens.

On the other hand, the Mayans had to stop writing their calendar on some date, wouldn't they?
