that was rather bad wording
although I think perhaps he meant to heal the child inside .... we all have a child inside
although I dont quite understand why he said it in this manner
but dont worry about it please
I am a child at heart also , a 37 year old .... forever a teen in my mind
I wouldnt have it any other way , who wants to grow up

it's hard to answer without knowing what you went for prayer for. Maybe the pastor was acknowledging that the 'little girl' inside of you was still hurting in some way from a pain inflicted on you when you were young. It doesn't have to be a big thing, just a time when you felt unloved/unaccepted/rejected. It doesn't mean he thinks you are a child. Pray for Jesus to show you what was going on, and remember the pastor isn't perfect, he may have just been a little insensitive.

Do not feel inadequate, You are a child of God.
Although I think the pastor could have chosen better words, Words are very important after all God him self used words to create all things, I would talk to another pastor, let him know what was said and how it made you feel. Then allow him to pray for you. Sometimes we do feel inadequate, we are only human but with God we are strong, It is not always easy to be a christian, God puts us in places that are not in our confront zone, it lets us know that it is him that we rely on and not our own abilities.

Well the Pastor obviously didn't know what he was talking about. If you went forward for a blessing and nothing else then take the blessing from the Lord, not this silly pray this man said. remember you are a special person and Loved by an amazing God, and he loves you just the way you are

Hi Dear,..His words did not come out right..There is nothing wrong with you..You did the right thing by seeking God through prayer..You are only feeling inadequate because you did not understand why he made that type of a statement..He was only speaking of the innocence that is within you..He was only assuming that you were hurting because you had gone to the altar for prayer..(that is his problem for guessing, and not yours~smile~)..God knows your heart, and the reason why you had gone to the altar for prayer..(at least the ministers words were positive, and it could never hurt by hearing it)..There is power in the name of Jesus..Keep looking up and go forth..God Almighty's will shall be done in your life, in Jesus name..You are special to the LORD and he loves it when we seek after him..You are doing the right thing by reading your bible, and fellowshipping with other believers..God Almighty knows your heart..love and peace, Minister Queen

See, thats what happens when you get mixed up in religion.
Its all designed to make you feel inadequate, supposedly in the eyes of god.
The pastor sounds like a paedophile. Stay away.

a lot of issues make me sense inadequate like not being the dazzling salve for a chum. kit besides the undeniable fact that do not. I had a contractor spank me on the butt appropriate on the progression sight till i could swing a hammer like a guy.

GET YOUR BIBLE AND PRAY AND ASK THE LORD TO BLESS YOU FROM ALL EVIL,MALICE AND SICKNESS.
NEXT TIME DONT LET JUST ANY ONE TOUCH OR PUT THEIR HANDS ON YOU,FOR THERE ARE MANY FALSE
TEACHERS AND PREACHERS,WITH THE WRONG SPIRIT.
Test every spirit
1Jo:4:1: Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
1Jo:4:2: Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
1Jo:4:3: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
1Jo:4:4: Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
1Jo:4:5: They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.
1Jo:4:6: We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
GOD BLESS

I feel similar when my Grandmother says she prays for me, and I don't feel worthy enough to be in her prayers all the time. For me, it might have to do with some lack of confidence.. But I dunno what could be causing you to feel inadequate. I don't think the feelings either of us have are necessary though.

The fact you went up and was prayed over is a beautiful thing. Satan just wants you to feel foolish, that's all. He doesn't want you to be blessed or healed.
