Yes, Jesus did and DOES exist. We not only have the Bible (which is a lot more accurate than people give it credit for, I'll get to that later), but we have historical evidence from the writings of Josephus (though you might want to be aware that some things were added to the writing. Josephus never would have said that Jesus was the Christ, because he was Jewish. He would, however, have said that OTHERS believed Jesus was the Christ.), Pliny the Younger, and several others.
As for my statement about the Bible being more accurate than people give it credit for, here's the proof: Christianity spread. Actually, it didn't just "spread" in the 1st century, it EXPLODED. Why is this a big deal? Think about it: Let's suppose for a minute that someone (or a group of someones) started attributing all kinds of abilities to George Washington right after he died. Perhaps they tried saying that he marched against the English with an advanced weapon, or that bullets and cannonballs just bounced off him. People at the time, and those who had known him personally, would have spoken out about it, right? They would have said that no, that stuff wasn't true.
The New Testament was written while those who were alive while Jesus was were STILL living, yet NO ONE said that even one thing the disciples said was a lie. Not ONE thing! They tried making up excuses, sure, like that Jesus had performed miracles because he was demon-possessed, or that His tomb was empty because the disciples had overcome the guards sitting outside and stolen the body.
As another answerer stated, you should read the Case for Christ by Lee Strobel. That's a GREAT place to start. It is only an overview of everything, so it may not be enough, but it should lead you to other books who go into more detail. I wish you the best of luck!

How can you think there is more evidence of dinosaurs than of Jesus. The only knowledge you have of dinosaurs is what you have read in books, or maybe seen in a museum. Some people think the Bible is just a bunch of made up stories. How do you know that someone isn't just making up stories about dinosaurs. Have you ever seen a dinosaur, yourself. Have you ever even dug up a dinosaur bone.
If you can believe what you have read about dinosaurs, why can't you believe what you have read about Jesus?
Personally, I have seen much more evidence of Jesus than of dinosaurs. So if I had to choose one that I thought might not have existed, I choose the dinosaur.

Do you need to see the air to know you are breathing it in? Is there proof that you will wake up the next morning? We have Jesus written in books everywhere, even in different cultures know about a man named Jesus, the question is " Is Jesus really who he said he is." The answer to that is you have to find him yourself. Read the BIble, and search within yourself. You have to believe that He is through faith, with faith you will not always have proof. Stop resisting,,,,trying to find proof is a part of resisting, go ahead and research some more. Christian website, bookstores, chicktracks, minsters, pastors, etc. Those who believe in God knows that he is always around. Some things you just have to pray for, and I hope that one day you won't need proof, you will just know and believe in Him.

Yes. There are historical evidences for biblical proof.
But I completely cannot deny when this happened to me. Just as Jesus said before He went to heaven, that He will send Holy Spirit on those who believe Him and get baptized, I received. Though I have heard many tell this, I was not sure because I have not felt. As it was exactly true as the bible has been written 2000 years before, I knew that all written in that was true.
Its not only me, but if you want to believe then do so, so that you will receive and be filled with joy.

Their are several non-biblical historians that document the existence of early Christian groups in the first century.
It is unlikely that such a developed theology been created in such a short period of time without some historical individual to base it on.
As such is it more than likely that Jesus was a historical individual. Almost everything beyond that though is speculation.

There are lots of proof of Jesus and his miracles in houndreds of ancient writings. Ask any Christian theologian. The four best known books we have is that of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John which is in the New Testament of the Bible.
You will not find any physical evidences of him on earth, because God resurrected Him from the dead, and is currently preparing our homes for us in heaven. God replaced Jesus with the Holy Spirit, that now lives inside each Christian.
In order to believe in God, all you need to do is to ask God to come into heart. I also strongly suggest that you visit the nearest church in your area and talk to a priest / pastor. Listen to personal testimonies from other people who accepted Jesus in there life. Its your decision. God is patient. He is ready when you are ready.

good question... in a nutshell i can answer...'yes, he did'....but as u said u want proof. I hope u are a reader cuz obviously i don't have enough word space to fit in the points of proof...get hold of the book by Lee Strobel 'The Case for Christ'. Its gotta whole lot of historical evidence that points undoubtedly to Jesus's existence and deity. For back up to that book...get The Case for a Creator and The Case for Faith...by the same author...happy reading!!!

Muslims saw it and we believe it.Muslims call us the people

We have to have faith. Even the Jews knew of Jesus although they didn't accept him as the Messiah. We do have some things to go from. We have his tomb and I believe the Shroud of Turin was Christ's burial cloth. Also, they found the Apostle Paul's anchor just where it should have been after they dropped anchor during a storm. We also have our Bible and collaboration of Christ through some great writing sources. Also, in 1947 a man named John Allegro found scrolls in a cave. They are called the Dead Sea Scrolls. He was a master linguist and he carefully placed them together. They mention John the Baptist and are dated to the time of Christ's time on Earth. So, we have a few things but sometimes you have to do like my Dad said and run it on faith. I do it alot.

Will not BC and AD tell you that JESUS is really living in this very world? The historians, scientists, astrologers etc., all has accepted BC and AD, which specifies that JESUS lived and died. Oh my Sekacity, come to that JESUS and submit your life, then no one teach you but you yourself will understand the existence of JESUS.
