People keep asking questions regarding being made in God's image .... soul was created in God's image, but God doesn't have a physical image, so please drop all the physical images and comparisons.

The pattern that God used to create souls was the pattern of God's own Spirit. The spirit is life. From the spirit, the mind builds patterns. From the mind, the physical creation is the result. This is how the spirit, the mind, and individuality, became the pattern for souls. This is how cause, action, and effect became the pattern for everything. First there was the spirit (the first cause); then there was the action which withdrew spirit into itself; then there was the resulting individuality of God.

vox populi vox dei the voice of the people is the voice of god
the bible is one of the most misunderstood tomes in the history of mankind . It was written by men for the purpose of improving life and within it contains many literary devises to get it's point across but whether you take it for what it may be worth is up to the level of mentality you apply .I am an atheist but the value of the stories in the bible and morality it contains have assisted me in my life immensely.please use some sense as you would if listening to your friend or neighbor and look for the messages that it may impart.
the writers may have maid a few mistakes or you may not understand it all but you should know what it's worth. It also said god loves justice now are justice system may not be perfect but only men can improve it . if you feel no shame as I
make sure you don't break the law in the process.
peace

Very interesting question. I think God made Adam and Eve nude without shame in the way that a child has no shame. Perhaps as God is a Father, He just saw them as innocent and free and it was more for their benefit. Many times God or Jesus (referred to often as the Son of Man) is mentioned to be wearing robes. I don't think that He wears them to cover up nakednesss, but as symbols of Majesty and Royalty. In Revelation 1:13 it says "...stands One like the Son of Man, clothed with a garment down to the feet and girded about the chest with a golden band."

Perhaps....the image has more to do with the source of power. (The energy itself).

No. If we saw Him like that, we would probably die. No one can gaze upon God and live.
