Don't worry about it. An adult male Golden Retriever should weigh between 60-80lb (27-36kg). Forget the vitamins unless he is lacking them in his daily diet.

Thats a great weight for a young Golden Retriever, Congratulations, you see way to many overweight Goldens that puts extra stress on growing bones. He will keep maturing up until he is around 3 years of age. Our adult females are about 30kg when mature. One of our boys is just over 40kg at 4yrs but has grown above breed standard and is a very big boy (not fat). Give him time he will mature.
As for the vitamins so long as you are giving him a good quality diet he shouldn't need them. Keep him healthy with lots of exercise.

I would say 28kgs is fine for a young retriever. They vary in size of course, but none should really be more than 35kg.

The best way to be sure your dog is not underweight is by looking at his condition - his ribs should not be visible and neither should his hip bones. Here is a link that shows you the ideal body condition of a dog:

Dog's shouldn't need to take vitamins. It is better for them to get all their nutrients from a high quality diet (i.e not something from a supermarket!). There is plenty of controversy about the giving of vitamins, as an excess of any type of vitamin is detrimental to a dog's health. It's best to just stick to a balanced diet.

If you are feding him a quality food and he is eating enough of it he doesn't need vitamins. A 1 year old golden should be about 50 pounds or a little more. If you can see his ribs while he is standing up he is too thin. You should be able to feel them and he should have a taper to him but not look like he is starving to death.
