now, can someone please tell me how to make my dog stop snoring? I mean, it sounds like an 800lb gorilla is in the crate with him. He's only 7 months old and it is getting worse every day...
Anyone had any luck with those nasal strips?

He is a beautiful Great Pyrenees.
I hear it is common among great pyrs...
But he is keeping me awake, not letting me sleep.... Charlie tried the same tricks on our boys at Khe Sanh, and let me tell you, if he keeps this up, I am not gonna be responsible for what happens

lol....well first of all you don't say what breed he is....some breeds (as you know being top contributor) tend to snore due to shortened muzzle. There isn't anything much you can do about that and considering a dogs muzzle is waaaaaaaay more muscled and and stronger then a humans nasal passages I would say nasal strips won't do much but make your dog cranky when you pull it off and it takes the hair with it.

If I were you I would suggest earplugs ;)

Congrats and there is a way to stop snoring.

Try changing the place where the dog sleeps. If he's only 7 months it should be easy to teach him. Besides. Many little ones snore 'a bit'. It should simmer down a bit after a year or so unless you have a real snorty dog...then it will get even worse.

Nasal...what ever will not be apreciated by your dog and will be removed before it even gets a chance of working.

What kind of dog is he? I doubt there is anything we can suggest. Unless he has allergies or something and the vet can help?
My Pitbull snores, I feel your pain.

Oh, I feel your pain!!!! Our aging beagle and our basset hound pup both snore, and when my husband joins in-CACOPHONY!!!! Unfortunately they don't make nasal strips for dogs, and the human kind don't work that well on my husband either!!!
I wear ear plugs when it gets REALLY bad. The kind they use on gun ranges...blissful silence!!!

Ear plugs. Sorry I sleep with two bloodhounds, a newfie, a husband and a bull terrier. If the noise doesn't get you, the gas will.

Congrats on the TC
