Okay, even you can figure out that recreational sex within the marriage means sex without the intent to reproduction.

I am unable to get exact meaning of recreational sex within marriage. I would say all the faiths, I mean mankind as a whole do not condone this sort of sex. Even animals do not allow or like this, excepting PIGS (For this reason only Muslims never eat PIG MEAT) -

to you and to Knerba

As a catholic explaining what I perceive to believe our beliefs are regarding sex, if it was only for procreation why would we teach natural family planning so the married couple can have sex and still plan when they will get pregnant without the use of other means of contraception. It's called reading the female body to determine when to conceive and when not to conceive. Sex between a husband and wife should always be a loving spiritual act because that is really what God created us for. It may or may not be for the purpose of conception but when you take away all possibility of conception by using condoms or other unnatural forms of conraception than you are removing God from the equation and that is when it is wrong. Sex is supposed to be enjoyed. Its ok to have sex for pleasure and not procreate it is the married couples way of being one body in the pressence of God and therefore its a celebration of LOVE. if you are not Catholic please try not to assume you know what I as a Catholic believe or don't because I don't presume to know what you believe and would never judge you or tell you that what you believe is wrong

Specifically, I can't name all religions which condone it, but I did learn about a cult where reproduction was PROHIBITED and no children were conceived on the compound for like 15 years. Then, the cult leader tried to figure out how to keep the children who were there from growing so he could molest them forever and ever. I know this doesn't really answer the question but it was interesting nonetheless.

Sex is a private matter between a man and women what faith or religion has to do with that. Religion is man made. Christianity is about 2000 years old, Islam about 1400 years old. Other religions may have their own dates. Before the religions what people did? They also had some rules and regulations.

So take your own decision and enjoy.

Someone from here harrassed me in email about this subject. Which is why I no longer allow emails.

Defining recreational sex, is sex for fun! I have sex for fun every time I have sex. I love my husband, therefore it is also with love. This person blasted me saying that lustful lovemaking within the marriage is a sin. How do these people get erections? How do they get pregnant?

Someone brought up Catholicism, so I'd like to point out it is a myth that Catholicism teaches sex is only for procreation.

Define recreational sex first.
Well then, I don't know which faiths don't condone it. The Christian God certainly doesn't. He encourages couples to come together often and to enjoy!

I've only heard of the Catholics promoting sex as only for procreation, but I assume there are other religions who believe the same thing.
