Okay, I was talking to this guy... I don't know him THAT well, but we've known of eachother for about five months, and I said I was about to cry and he replied with: Omg, are you okay?

Sounds like that you care for him.
Most guys I know would ask if I was okay if I was on the verge of tears- but I don't think it means they have romantic feelings for me.
Don't try to read into something that doesn't exist. He was probably just being nice.

Well I'm not a guy but if anyone I knew announced they where about to cry I'd probably ask if they where ok or wanted to talk thats just plain old empathy. As far as him caring for you there are a zillion ways he could show it and since everyone different they show they care in different ways. Why not chill enjoy the time you spend with him and see if you can tell he cares or even out right ask? Can't hurt sure if you've been talking he at least likes you as a friend.

I would tell you yeah if it were a Disney Movie....but....reality no those are no signs because if it were I would be married....signs to me would be he wants to spend a lot of time with you, calls you a lot, flirts with you constantly, tells you how much he cares or like they say the little things a person does.

sometimes if you have know the guy for a few years and he is agood guy then yes he does care about you as a person and your feelings if you like him talk to him and thank him for caring and let him know that you are glad to have someone who cares how you feel ........ both of you will benefit from it

It could mean he cares for you. Could also mean he panicked because he didn't know what to do if you started crying in front of him.

i imagine it ability precisely what he's declaring....that he cares for you as a buddy. no longer something more beneficial, no longer something a lot less. basically sense free that someone cares for you........this is complicated to locate sturdy friends.
