I know the answer is nothing but...

nothing like what we see when our eyes are closed... just darkness (probably that they dont even notice)

or do they see as much as our elbow sees?

this is something i've always wanted to know!

It depends on the cause of their blindness. Some see nothing, some see varying shades of illumination (like looking toward the sun with your eyes closed), some see a little, but very fuzzy.

My boyfriend is completely blind...no light, no nothing...and he has always been blind. I have asked him this question and he says it's an irrelevant question. He cannot describe "what" he sees any more than we can describe life on a planet a million miles away. He says he has no frame of reference for "sight" and it takes some frame of reference to use a basis for description. He can tell me what he hears, tastes, touches, ect ect but he cannot give me any description of what he "sees." Clinically, he sees nothing, but that does not really help answer the question. I hope this gives you some kind of answer.

Alot of blind people can't see anything however alot of other blind people see light, You know when you have your eye closed and look at the sun it kind of hurts well I imagine that woould be the same for them depending how serious their blindness is.

It depends on how blind they are. Many see a glow of light, or hazy figures and shadows. It's not enough to identify objects.

They see with their heart eyes... Although they cannot see but God granted them six sense that actually allow them to see on different ways.... Sometimes they can see better than normal people. But have a belief on that or else it will not happen..
