As everyone has said... see a doctor. If your family doesn't.. at least see your school nurse or talk to a PE teacher that probably has some basic sports medicine knowledge. Besides what everyone has mentioned... it could also be juvenile arthritis. Check the link below... and see if any of the symptoms sound like your problem.
Good luck, & I hope you follow up on all the great suggestions.

Since you are 15 your parents should have taken you to a doctor for this. Perhaps they have but you have not found relief. You need to go back. You may need physical therapy, that is what I would want to try first. You may have arthritis and need to take aspirin or other pain relievers as well. If your parents will not take you to the doctor, you need to talk to the school nurse or someone at school who will help you get medical care.

Tell your mom to take you to an osteopath(bone doctor) sounds like torn cartiledge in the knee, very painful. He will take mri anyway---its fixable kid, hang in there. If surgery is needed, it takes a little longer to heal than they say. Oh and the cortizone shot in the knee really***helps!

Weird, some kind of chronic bursitis maybe? Stop walking, put your legs up, get an ice pack on your knee, and see a doctor. Maybe you have a loose ligament or an old tear, who knows? DOCTOR!

You might want to make an appointment with a knee doctor and see if cortisone shots will help.

Definitely go see a doctor as soon as possible. You could be doing further (maybe permanent) damage just by walking on it. A doc can tell you 4 sure. good luck
