I would not like to be those priests on judgement day - just so you pick on the right people - PRIESTS gives you a huge hint...

Is this to say that only "preists" molest children. Before you answer go to google and type in "pastor molestation"

Christianity has many sects (denominations); some of them hate each other, and some people like telling people of other sects they're going to hell.

Check out http://www.chick.com/catalog/tractlist.asp - I think there are 4 little comics things explaining catholics are going to burn for eternity.

Well, I got way too many hits on the search engine to determine which one might have your quote in it. But what I did get was a list containing a whole lot of non-priest pastors that had committed the same act. I have a feeling that the person writing it may have a prejudice against Catholics - just so you pick on the right people, etc. I don't know what else may be in the quote or what the context was, but I'd take it with a grain of salt.

Certainly not! And I believe the percentage of priests who do molest is less than .1 percent. There are bad people everywhere. Why should the priesthood be any different? I wouldn't want to be those priests ever and especially on judgment day but who would? That doesn't mean that all priests or all clergy are pedophiles.

I have no idea what you're talking about, but to say that only priests molest children is ridiculous. Unless all the creepy uncles/stepfathers out there, and Michael Jackson, become priests.

Yes, there have been some really depraved Christian leaders, and lay people period. This is definitly not the teaching of Christ. This is should nver have happened.

Yes and because of human depravity you will rule out God?
Christians aren't perfect and just being a Christian doesn't make them good people.

Although you would hope that when they get to leadership roles that this would not be a part of who they are.

Believe me, even though I am a Christian when I have kids the people who will have access to my children will have nothing to do with their status, or position it will have to do with can I trust them. Or not.

People who molest children are disgusting and abominable, no matter who they are. However, there are some people who are in positions of trust. The clergy, educators, social workers, health-care professionals...all of these (and others) are recognized as being people who are supposed to be there to help others.

For THOSE people to be exploiting children and misusing the trust placed in them in order to gain access to victims....that's beyond scummy...it takes complete degradation and depravity to lower depths.

Well, there are those Protestants that believe their hierarchy is sinless because they take full immersion baths. Seriously, they are truly afraid that their church might be wrong and attacking other religions relieves this feeling to a certain extent.
