We HAVE witnessed stars going nova.
The Hubble Space Telescope got one on film in July 2005. That one can be found on the website.
Tycho Brahe witnessed one 1572 that lasted 16 months.
Chinese astronomers witnessed one in 185 and another in 1006.
There is four. Easy to find...just google it..

tomtom1 pretty much said what I was going to say about the Crab Nebula around 1100 a.d. I disagree though with what he assumed of the bright star at the time of Jesus' birth. Astrologers have determined that two alignments of planets occurred to create a bright star "twice" 3 years apart and was at about the time it is said Jesus was born. Around 7 b.c. and 4 b.c. ,.......

that is not true, we observe them on a rather regular basis. Also, there are nebulas we know wich are remnants of supernova explosions. Crab Nebula is one of them. Chinese have historical record records of supernova explosions going back thousands of years. The bright star that is mentioned around the time of the birth of Christ was most likely a supernova.

genuinely, i presumed it became weird and wonderful till i observed the video. interior the video, the band mouths those words particularly of genuinely making a music them--you recognize, a goof on the censors as a results of fact interior the video it is totally glaring what they're asserting. i do think of it makes the music sound weird and wonderful however while they play that version as a results of fact the cd version has each and every of the words.

By the way, the word is cosmologist. I think that's what you were trying to say. Maybe you're looking for readers of Cosmopolitan. That would explain a lot.

Of course not. contrary to popular beleif, the sun, even the universe is actually less that 10,000 years old. takes longer than that for a star to 'go nova", if it ever does!
