I was given a puppy in Feb. and they told me it was full blooded labrador, but had non papers. I could care less about the papers though. She has grown a lot, and now she looks almost like a lab, but she has weird color, and she has a lot of control over her ears. He color is almost white, but she has a light brown (sorta pink) stripe down her back. I believe that she is around 3 or 4 mos old. I have a link to her picture below. The one labeled Daisy sleeping is her youngest. The one labeled Daisy getting older is 2nd, and the one labeled Daisy now is the most recent.
Thanks in advance.

I didn't pay for her. She was going to go to the pound and I said I wanted her. I began with a black lab that I paid for, then got Daisy. Then someone at my husband's job said, "Hey take this dog she is going to the pound." So then we adopted "Ginger." Ginger is a mean girl and will not laet Daisy eat much. I do feed Daisy seperately, but she is still kinda afraid to go near her food. They are all outside dogs. Ginger growls at her. I realized this was happening about 3 days ago, so that would be why she is skinny. I feed Daisy on one side of the yard while ginger gets fed on the other, but I still have to deal with ginger's growling, that is making Daisy uneasy. I realized that water from a spray bottle in Ginger's face is working pretty well :) BTW the other dogs are cows. Here is a link to their pics....

Well... she does look like a lab. She might be mixed with another breed that is similar in size. I had a similar problem and found out about the breed of my puppy by taking her to the vet.
When you take the dog to a vet they will have to identify the breed. If you are unsure, they will help you. This is they way that I found out my dog was a terrier mix.
You can also take her to a kennel. Kennels know about breeds because they work with dogs all day long. Some breeds do not get along so well and have to be placed according to temperament. Well... at least a GOOD kennel will be able to help you.
Good Luck!

Very cute! The first picture reminds me a Red Heeler, especially the control of those ears. I'd say mostly lab though. Some yellow labs can be very light in color, like being "platinum blonde".

The picture, 'Daisy now' is a big hard to judge. Her head is definitely not of the normal purebred Lab. I wouldn't be surprised if she isn't 100% purebred.
That's why you find a reputable breeder and you ask for papers, champion parents/pedigree and genetic health tested parents!

I agree with the folks that feel you have a touch of Sheppard in the mix here ---
If the papers aren't that important to you --
you should be comforted to know that this animal -- should it be the case of a Lab / sheppard mix --- should turn out to be an extremely smart -- loyal -- and beautiful animal with a lot of love to give !! She will be a faithful companion and be there for all the ups and downs with more than enough love for everyone in your family !!!

She looks exactly like a yellow lab except her ears are perked and that tells me she must be mixed with something else like maybe some german shepherd or something.
Labs ears lay flat to their head even when they are excited they cannot point their ears up.
She looks a little bony to me. I think she should be fed a little more. Her ribs are showing in her photo.

She looks like a lab in her youngest pic. but her pointy ears now certainly are not lab. From what I can see, she looks like she may have some terrier and lab in her. Papers or not, she looks like a sweetheart.

What a cutie. If you paid for a pure breed lab, I think that you were misled. Her head and ears remind me a lot of a white Shepard.

She definitely has Yellow Labrador in her, but the erect ears means there's something else in the bloodlines. Perhaps some Basenji. By the way, why is she so skinny? You can see the poor pup's ribs! Fatten her up!
