Do you think 14 is too young to have sex even if we know that it is possible that she could get pregnant?We know the risk and also both of us don't have any STDs or anything.

This is a tough question. There is no right or wrong age to have sex. Now while I'd like to say "wait until marriage" I'm not stupid and know that the likely hood of that is next to none.
SO...having said that, I think that in my opinion yes 14 is to young to have sex. You barely know yourself at that age let alone to start having sex.
But the main reason is what if she got pregnat and NO condoms and even the pill are NOT 100% there are certin drugs like simple anti-biotics that can and do effect the pill making it ineffective as I have seen first hand friends become little mothers as a result and don't think that telling the doc about the pill is fool-proof as mistakes do happen and sometimes even the docs aren't aware of this tiny BIG side effect.
Anyway I highly doubt that at 14 you or she could handle this kind of responsiblty. A child is a lot of work and there isn't any jobs for a high school drop out as even flipping hamburgers at mcdonalds requires a minimum of grade 11 i believe and in some places even a highschool diploma.
Adoption is another option but....how would living with that guilt for the rest of your life suite the both of you?
And.........having a baby at 14 can be dangerous for her as her body isn't quite ready for that yet.
So...we've ruled out the baby issue. Condoms break (speaking from experiece on that issue).
Also there is a certin kind of emotional attachment that comes with giving a little peice of yourself which is what sex is. Two people becoming ONE.
So can you live with that, doubt it and this is also speaking from experience you will feel that little peice of you missing for the rest of your life.
And.........drum roll please!
how to tell you are to young.........................the fact that you've asked this question means you have doubt.
Any doubt is a NO! if you have one shred of doubt which you should after reading this answer then I'd say no hold off for a couple years.
I waited until I was 19 and I STILL regret it why because truly i wasn't really in love with him and i knew it. So as I doubt you could be in true love with this girl as you will know when you get older that at 14 true love is'nt possible then stay away from the bed.

You should wait. If you can't than you DEFINATELY should use some sort of protection. Before you decide when this will take place go and hang out with a baby all day just so you can have an idea of what a child is. If you are not careful you will have one. Do you really want a child at the age of 15 or 16? Good Luck! Find a local planned parenthood they are Great!!

Wait till your older, you'll be glad you did. Being a teen parent isn't all sunshine and roses, it is hard. Just remember it only takes having sex one time to get her pregnant even with protection so is it really worth the risk. I became a mother at the age of 18 and his father, who abandoned me, was 6 months older than me. Having a baby even that young made my life way more difficult. There are a lot of things that you can't take back in life and your virginity is one of them so think about that long and hard.

yes i think that's way to young. U should wait till your married. I knew a guy he had sex and had his first child when he was only 13, then when he turned 15 he had another, and then he had another at age 17 he is now 19 and has gotten 4 different girls pregnat and 1 of them was a miss carriage. learn from his mistakes you never want to end up like that while paying child support for your kids. wait till your married!

Yes, you are far too young. You will regret it one day...please save yourself at least til your a bit older. (18 or 19 at least!) Saving sex for marriage is ideal, but I cannot force my beliefs on you.
You can't handle a baby right now and the consequences that follow.
Just wait.

Yes, you should wait. I think until you are at least 18 or older. Sorry. Lots of other stuff you can do to have fun, and be safe, and no worries of pregnancy or std's.

yes save it for the wedding night. even if it would be the person you are with now. there are other things you can do and still be a virgin.
you say that you will be with this person always, you never know what is going to happen tomorrow, save it until after god has blessed your union.

o heck yes! im 14 right now and i think that it is best to be a virgin still. cuz just think...wouldnt u want ur future wife to be the first one....and wouldnt u want to be the first one that she ever had too? just think how much better both of ur relationships would be if u just waited. waiting doesnt make u less of a man. remember that. :) make the right choice plz :)
