And a big shout out to Eve for having that fruit. Without her, no need for Jesus! (Plus God would have given lions those nice carnivore teeth for no reason whatsoever).

So glad you're back squirrelly!

Pilate didn't, he offered to release Jesus or Barabbas. A Hebrew Fundamentalist mob called for the release of Barabbas.

Barabbas thought they were all nuts and really wanted them fed to the squirrel...oh yeah...your a squirrel....eat any fundamentalists lately?

Oh I dunno. Maybe not. Look at all the misunderstandings, all the bad done in his name. If he'd lived, he may well have been immortal, and he'd be able to help people actually understand what he meant.

And technically, Jesus made the decision - Pilate gave Jesus several opportunities to save himself - jesus chose to die instead. Pilate washed his hands to absolve himself of any blame.

No, read a Bible. Jesus was given the power to lay down His own life & pick it back up. It was not up to Pilot, and he washed his hands, the Blood of Jesus was not in his hands. He knew Jesus was innocent if the charges.

No, we should thank Jesus for not hiring some hotshot lawyer from Jerusalem. Jesus knew what his mission was. That is why he chose to "open not his mouth" as Isaiah described of him when he had the chance to defend himself.

No. We do not honor them for their sinful acts, but we do acknowledge that even the wretch of mankind may fall into the will of God.
