find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Exercise and changing your diet are two important factors for weight loss.
You should begin an exercise regimen slowly, and you may want to consult your doctor first. You stated that you are "really overweight," and this can make it difficult to exercise. Exercising in water is a great way to start, since it reduces the pressure and weight on your joints. Walking is a good next step. Small bits of exercise add up, too. Park a few extra spaces away from the store or take the stairs instead of an elevator. It would also be helpful to begin building muscle mass with light weight training exercises.
As far as changing your diet, it would be good to cut out refined carbohydrates (sugar, soda pop, white rice, bread, pasta) as much as possible. You want to replace them with healthy carbohydrates (vegetables, whole grains, fruits), fats (avocados, olive oil, canola oil) and proteins (beans, lean meat, fish, poultry, tofu, reduced fat milk and dairy products). Refined carbohydrates affect your blood sugar levels in bad ways. By eating healthy fats and protein with whole grain versions of bread, pasta and rice, your blood sugar levels should stay steadier and help you to eat less and feel fuller longer. If you currently drink a lot of pop, you'd be amazed at how many fewer calories you consume by switching to water, unsweetened tea or diet pop!
Remember that, if you lose weight super quickly, you're more likely to gain it back. Making healthy changes to your daily routine, rather than going on a crash diet, will likely offer steadier, life-long benefits for you. Good luck!

Hi there, firstly, what sort of foods made you overweight? If you are extremely overweight, try not to suddenly cut off your food, but reduce your portions slowly. Try replacing butter and with marg. Make sure you get some protein for breakfast, this will prevent sugar craving in the afternoon. Eat your 2 and 5 for fruits and veggies and don't eat carbs after 4pm! If you are very overweight, it wont take you long to see results! Goodluck sweetie

EXERCISE!!!!!!! Start by walkin every day for a week or two then walk faster for a week. Then jog 1/4 a mile for a week and speed walk the rest and increase by 1/4 every time you feel comfortable.
Eat high protein and low fat/carbs.
It is very hard you have to be focused and disciplined.
