no, its illegal and WHY the 16 yr old is a KID, get an ADULT to date

I am struggling with the same issue. I am soon to be 17 and interested in a 20 year old. The 3 year age gap doesn't seem like a lot but ti all depends on the people. You have been through a lot more than this girl. Take a very serious look at her maturity level.

It's funny how people say this.. but when I was 16 every girl I liked was dating some guy that age or older..

Uhm, no. The 16 year old isn't legal. You mean to tell me, you can't find anyone your own age? Are you hanging out at the mall to meet dates?

in some states they have what they call a "consent age". check your local laws to see what they have to say about it, that should answer your question.
(my bio mom was 15, and my bio dad was 25 when he got her prego.. and in that state, they couldn't touch him, because she consented to it, and she was of that age to do so.)
but honestly.. two years isn't a long time to wait.

yes it can do...but dont fall in sexual relationship....u both r too young for this n u may find urself in jail if anyone reports....
