Dave - As a nice girl, I don't go to bars or clubs. I go to church, stores, malls, fast food place (McD, Wendys, Popeyes, etc), park, movie theaters, and other stuff but bars and clubs are a no no.

You know, come to think of it, I met a really nice girl last monday at a billiards lounge. She was there all alone playing by herself. I had seen her only once before but never talked to her. Then this past week I just walked up to her at the pool table and asked if she wanted to play. We did, had a great time and enjoyed each other's company very well. Now here's the problem. I could have got her number and walked her to her car as we were both leaving. But I didn't. I knew that if I would pursue it in that nature that it would be seeking a relationship of sorts. It isn't the greatest time in my life to have a relationship, I knew that one of us would get hurt if not both of us. The crappy thing is that it is really hard to just be friends when the other person 'likes' you. This becomes a very unstable situation. So, you can find nice people but are you ready? why 18 -25?

Definitely outside of clubs. Clubs are the absolutely worst place. It's all about flash and no substance and people there are so dishonest and aggressive (generally).
Bars can be o.k. but you want one with a pub atmosphere, or maybe a karaoke bar (very extroverted people hang around those places) Perhaps coffee houses, also - where people are more sober.
You could also take classes. Things you might not have thought of - martial arts, painting, poetry sessions. Pick something that genuinely interests you (as faking will be detected), but where you might meet somebody who's like-minded. Perhaps church if you're religious - I haven't been in years, but I understand a lot of people used to meet that way.
Also, if you're active, you can take up jogging or cycling. You may eventually meet fellow joggers or cyclists.
In general, the idea is to find an activity you might be interested in, and where you might meet people.

right here... although i am 27..
if you want to find a nice guy, you can find them anywhere... even bars.. just look for the ones that arent acting like jackasses, or doing anything where the attention has to be on themselves at all times.. that guy in the back of the bar, that has just been sitting there shooting the breeze with his friends, he's more than likely one of the nicer fellas in the place, no matter what the place is.
that doesnt apply to only bars, it goes for school, resturants, anywhere there might be a social gathering. the one thats not all over you and/or other girls is that one you want to go for.

It's all a gamble. You never know another person. let the guy find you. The problem is you are finding the guy. The word of God Say's "He that findeth a wife fine a good thing' So from that I would say the man finds the woman, not the woman find the man.

well im a nice guy and i havent stepped foot into a church nor a library in about 4 years.. so dont look just there

Try a park.. (look for guys walking dogs, most guys only have dogs as chick magnets) or meet people through friends. Just be outgoing, and it'll happen.

i was going to say gay bars.
The park, the gym, coffee shops, through friends, through work, through friends at work. the internet, although, they are usually more creepy than nice.
You could try speed dating. go with your girlfriends its loads of fun.

Church, not just church. They are few and far between though. Mostly you don't find them. They just happen. If they are nice they are more than likely not out there looking to pick up somebody....
